I will admit I haven’t been inside a Sally Beauty Supply Store in some years but I decided to go and visit them yesterday because my place of employment has put so much grey hair on my head, be warned my younger Unilocal Friends, Stress will do this to you! So, since I like being a Blonde, and hey, I may like being a Blonde but Dumb Blonde will never apply to me. pffft… I walked inside this place and right away a grumpy woman/person asked if she could help me find something, geez, give me a minute here, I just walked in the door! This Sally Store location is very small with cramped quarters, and I saw some nice girly stuff like Curling Irons, Blow Dryers, lots of nail polish, and a whole bunch of fake eyelashes. I also found the aisle with the hair color/dye and boy, was this confusing, they had like hundreds of colors/shades, in lotions and crèmes, yadda, yadda. I stayed in this aisle for about 5 minutes and started to get a headache from all the hundreds of color choices and wound up leaving the store empty handed, Sorry Sally, no sale, no ca-ching for you! So, in ending this sad story of my grey haired existence, I wound up going back to my place of employment which has given me stated grey hair and buying a color kit! Welcome to my life…

Sally’s is a bit crowded — not because of people, but because of how small the store is in the neighborhood. But still, it’s a good place to find most hair and beauty products. There always seem to be sales and discount deals going on as well.

The girls always seem to be too busy to help. I just get what I came for and head out. The store is very clean and I can always find what I’m looking for.
