This person was the head of refractory surgery at the University of Chicago. He told me I needed ‘special lenses when I had surgery and that my insurance company would not cover the costs. He had me pay $ 4,000 for the lenses and pocketed the money. My insurance company said they would pay but he couldn’t produce the correct bill because of his sleight-of-hand fraud. I finally contacted the right people and the hospital — he got fired and I got my money back. There were many others that he had done this to as well.
