A very nice experience. Receptionist was very friendly and my facial was amazing. Sylvia is exceptional, explained the process and products as she went through the service. I will definitely be back!

Come here for Mariana’s Brazilian wax, you will not be disappointed. She’s so great, you’ll never think about shaving again. The space is clean and the staff is so sweet. Such a great experience and the wax will change your life!

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They know absolutely nothing about customer service, cleanliness, or the ethics of running a business. The Salon Manager is definitely one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. There are so many other wonderful spas in Chicago, please do not waste your time by going to this one — I wish I hadn’t!
My fiancée and I booked a couples massage here for last Sunday. I had purchased a Gilt Voucher which was the reason we chose this place. I made the appointment and no one said anything to me about arriving early for paperwork. The salon opened at 11 AM, our appointment was for 11 AM, we got there at 11 AM … which was apparently late?! We filled out the paperwork when we arrived as requested, and then my fiancée had to use the bathroom. We were still in the waiting area so figured he had time.
Shortly after he headed into the restroom, the therapists came to the waiting area to show me to the room where our treatments would take place. Shortly after that, they asked me to check on my fiancé and let him know that the time he was in the bathroom would be coming out of our massage time — which was absurd. They didn’t even greet me until 11:10 and my fiancée was in the bathroom for 10 minutes after that as he was not feeling well. I asked if we could reschedule, as we’d only be getting a 40 minute massage at that point — ²⁄₃ the value of the voucher. The manager said no — that I should tell my fiancée to hurry up in the bathroom.
I pointed out that I wasn’t even greeted by our massage therapists until 11:10 and he told me that was our fault for not coming earlier to fill out paperwork — which no one told me about!
My fiancée entered the treatment room and went to the table they wanted him to lay on, and noticed it was filthy. He pointed this out and they offered to change the sheets — but at that point, there was absolutely no way we could enjoy a relaxing massage appointment after the way were treated, and realizing that cleanliness was obviously not a priority to Savon Spa.
The therapist asked if we wanted to reschedule, and I told her the manager told us we could not. She talked to him, and after that he said that it was possible to reschedule. He asked if we wanted to reschedule for later that day — which turned out to be a trap. I asked what openings were available and he said, «I thought your fiancé was sick — how is he going to get a massage later?».
At that point, I had enough. I let him know I wasn’t interested in rescheduling, and would be pursuing a refund with Gilt — which he unsuccessfully attempted to stand in the way of, as he fradulently redeemed our voucher! We did not receive massages, and weren’t even offered the champagne the voucher included — but he still marked it as redeemed!
Again — there are so many other wonderful spas in Chicago, please do not waste your time by going to this one — I wish I hadn’t!

I’ve been here for a massage many times before and have always had a enjoyable experience.
They are great at handling groups. My friends and I had a mani/​pedicure party and we had a fantastic time.
Kim and Vince are great for nails, and if you want to get a massage be sure to ask for Courtney or Javier!

This was our first time to Savon Spa and it was heavenly. We had an hour long couples massage with Javier and Diondra. They were both superstars. We will definitely be coming back!

Think I’ve found my neighborhood go to :) friendly team, weekend mimosas, relaxing setting, great nails– checks all my boxes! My friend and I had Kim and Gabriella and both walked away with smiles — They took their time with hand and leg massages, scrubs, and nail care. I’ve been to slightly cheaper places, but value was vastly different. I am excited to go back and try facials and back massages!

It was my second visit to Savon Spa. And for the second time I am very happy with my experience. I had the Eminence Facial. My face looks great! Sylwia is a true professional, I could tell she really cared about my skin and she did a wonderful job with extractions. I also appreciate convenient hours, and a cup of tea while I was waiting. Definitely be coming back :)

I had an amazing facial with Marina earlier this week and my skin continues to glow! Of note, I had a groupon for the organic facial. She did a fabulous job and really focused on my skin. When discussing general things to do for my skin, she did not push any products which is a plus. She is gentle with her extractions, but does a very thorough job– she checked around my jawline and near my ears where she found some stuff! She really scans your face! At one point, she left an enzymatic exfoliator on me for ~10 min (didn’t leave the room… I like this) and while waiting, she was considering various masks and said, «we’ll see what you’re skin is going to tell us.» She took another look under the light after removing the exfoliator and decided from there. I definitely trusted her approach and expertise.
One not so positive thing which prevented me from giving 5 stars was the wait time. I arrived exactly at the time of my appointment instead of earlier (my fault), so I though this would cut into my visit and make it shorter. But, they were running 25 – 30 minutes behind. A staff member eventually told me and apologized for the wait, but didn’t specify how long (and I had been offered glasses of water while waiting). I didn’t complain because I needed to get this done before a trip and had no other availability. Marina gave me the full hour, so I think it worked out because we both didn’t have anything right after. On another day, this would have been problematic.
With that said, 10 stars for Marina for such a wonderful facial! My skin looks great and feels so smooth!

Vince gives the best pedicures. And every massage I’ve had here has been great.

Loved my experience here … My hubby and I went for our 18^th wedding anniversary so we had high expectations. I saw an awesome deal on Groupon and called about booking couple massage along with mani Pedi (no chip for me). At the time of booking, I admit I asked a lot of question based on so of the reviews on Unilocal.Explained this my anniversary and I want it to be perfect ! We arrived just as the doors were opening and greeted and wish «happy 18^th:! Our massage therapist were Courtney and Maria, I had’ Maria’ who listen to all my concerns and request and customized my massage. My hubby had Courtney he need a deeper massage which he was very pleased with ! The couple massage room is definitely adequate for the tasks it not massive but both ladies did a beautiful job no complaints. Our nails services we awesome our glasses of mimosas never were empty and massage chairs in the area were powerful I had to hold onto my drank ! The owner Vince did my nail service no chip in a Royal blue, I feel like royalty every time I look down I smile ! Oh I must say the have a Huge assortment of polishes all brands ! All in all I can be a bit anal cause Mama like the best, I work hard so I need the bang for my buck ! But we truly enjoyed our experience here and the special care this establishment put into our special day !!!

Great little spa! Went in on a Saturday when my regular nail salon was jammed and they took me right in. I was looking for something new so I went with a hyper color no-​chip. Gabby did a great great job and I was super pleased with the fun colors!
I went back for a deep tissue massage a couple days later and Joe did a really great job working out my knots.
Excellent under the radar spa with great technicians and very reasonable prices!

Unprofessional and not clean. The massage therapist and his shoulder massage was the best thing about this place.

Very cute place! Went yesterday for a no-​chip mani & classique pedi. Brought my mom for their organic eminence facial.

My mom’s facial is priced at $ 100. Got it for $ 59.
My no chip mani & classique pedi would’ve been around $ 73. Got it for $ 60. Can’t complain. Make sure to mention when booking.
When we arrived, we were greeted by Vince. You fill out forms depending on your service. My mom filled out a form for her skin care/​type because she was getting a facial. We were offered tea and water. Cute waiting area.
Can’t speak for my mom’s facial but my experience was great. Online it tells you approx how long each service would be so I expected to be there around 1.5−2 hrs. They have a wide variety of colours. Vince even showed me which no chip colours had matching polish for my toes.
Gabriela worked on my nails. We had a great conversation which I rarely come across in nail salons. She made me feel very comfortable and made sure I was in pain or anything. Can’t say how long my nails have lasted because I got it yesterday but my nails look great! She made sure I was okay with everything she was doing from the nail length, shape, and polish application. Thanks Gabriela!
Facility is clean. Service is great. Great variety of services as well as Polish colours.
Definitely will come back!

I’ve been here a few times for some couple massages now, but the one I just got was the best massage I’ve ever had. Courtney has the hands of a goddess. I’ve never felt so fully refreshed. Do yourself a favor and request her for a full body Swedish.

The owner is so nice. They pay very close attention to detail and leave you feeling so relaxed. Reasonably priced and a true gem

This place is great! Very accommodating, they were able to fit three of us in two hours before closing! I would totally come here for a massage again! Vernon was my massage therapist, he was professional and so GOOD! I asked him to focus on my shoulder during a quick 30 minute massage; which feels so much better!

I lived in New York for four years, and spa hopped all the time, never really super enthralled by any one particular facility or skin therapist. And I’ve been to a lot of places, from five star hotel spas to smaller unknown spots.
But when I came to Chicago, I discovered Savon Spa!!! My favorite spa in the whole wide world!
It’s a small place, but I love it because:
#1 — They use Eminence. Best organic skincare out there.
#2 — Sylvia!!! She is amazing! She is so nice, so caring, and is brilliant at her job. I’ve had multiple facials with her, and a body exfoliation service. She truly takes you away from reality and brings you into a whole new, peaceful dimension.
Also, I like the owner too, and the girl at the front desk! They smile, and make you feel so welcome and special. I really can’t say enough :)
If you want to feel super relaxed, feel great about yourself, and experience true customer service, then Savon Spa is the place to go.

I love this place. Beata is fantastic at giving facials. I tend to get blackheads and really clogged pores, and she is rigorous at removing them. She also does a great facial massage. After my facial, my skin always feels minty fresh.
I came here for a couples facial with a friend and they treated us so well. They have a backroom with a leather couch and fireplace where you can hang too.
Great products, comfortable atmosphere, good service. I’d definitely recommend.

Actually Vince my groupon was for 2 eye brow waxes from groupon. I told you that personally when I got my brows done. The groupon was purchased under my my married name Mrs Ramraj Krishnan aka Ramraj Krishnan. My husband passed away very suddenly and now I have reffered back to my maiden name. Before you accuse people of «Ghetto scamming» make sure you have your facts straight. I gave a simple one sentence initial review of my terrible experience at your salon. Your reaction to this review is far more effective of proving my point that customer service is lacking than anything I have stated in my previous review. Here is the information. I went in there and asked for my brows to be cleaned up not to make them any thinner. They made them very thin and completely uneven. Vince also stated «the brows were very thin». As I spoke to Vince about my displeasure with the outcome of my spa service he offered a free waxing in the future I told Vince this and that I would never let his salon do my brows again (funny since he accused me of demanding his services in the future for free).Vince let one of his nail techs claim to be the manager. She said «let your brows grow out» «what do you expect». After that he came back to the room and apologized and claimed to be the owner. I said fine I will write about my experience and how awful it was (I never mentioned the website at all). Here is all the information on my legitimate groupon and now my brows will take a couple of months to grow back. I’ve never had a more unpleasant time getting my brows done by somebody in the industry. Groupon under the name Ramraj Krishnan voucher number 16 180 734 groupon number 8435-​GE Vince offered me a manicure to make up for my eyebrow experience which I have not gotten nor did he give me an actual voucher for one. I also did not book a future manicure at this place. If I had been looking for a «free service» then I would not have posted a negative review about what happened to my face. I said I would go to groupon to get a partial refund for the other remaining eyebrow wax since I said I would no longer be getting my brows done here and the groupon was for 2 waxes not 1! It’s true I booked my appt. 10 min before because it was last min. I was looking forward to having a new place to get my eye brows done in the future. In my original review I did not list everything that happened to me on my visit to this location. Now I have. I have been forced to purchase a brow powder darker brow pencil brow mascara to attempt to conceal what was done to my face until my brows grow back.
