You are the best. I am a brand new quilter and she took her time walking me through fabrics and color choices. It’s a wonderful shop. So well organized, clean, and so friendly. On top of that, it’s the best quality fabric that I’ve come across in Chicago so far. That’s not down grading other places but I really enjoyed their selection.

What a nice store! Stopped by on the way to somewhere else and was delighted I found it. The owner and her employees are really nice. I found a LOT of fabric I «needed» including many great fabrics on sale. There is also a nice German restaurant down the block for a bite after.

I love SCQC. The fabric selection is outstanding — whoever does their buying has impeccable taste. My favorite thing about this happy little shop is that when I’m there, I feel like part of the family. When my daughter isn’t with me they ask about her. They seem to take genuine pleasure in helping and chit-​chatting and they give the customer enough space so as not to feel any sort of pressure. Love love love.

I love this little quilt shop! I was greeted by a wonderful lady, very perky and helpful. There’s not a wasted inch in this shop, every nook & cranny is filled with wonderful fabric. There wasn’t a fabric in here that I didn’t want, and most of it I had seen only online, what a great selection! I was especially excited to see the Tula Pink fabrics, some Japanese fabric (more please!), and a great selection of solids. Be sure to stop by this shop when you are in Chicago, you won’t be disappointed!

A sweet little gem of a store with a very tempting selection of quilt-​weight fabrics, including a lot of very reasonable pre-​cuts that you’d usually have to find online. They have Bella solids and a slew of contemporary designer fabric — and I’m so pleased to have a place in the city to stock up on quilty supplies other than the big boxes. Best of luck to them!

This is a unique concept for Chicago, a quilt supply store. There is no other place in Chicago where you can get quilting supplies and also get fantastic recommendations from the staff. The store itself is well organized, with all the material on display so you can easily see what is available. If you need supplies, advice or are just getting into quilting, this is the place to go. Highly recommended.
