Gary Siedband of Siedband Solutions… this guy should be able to get more stars than the optional 5.
I have had this computer sitting around for about a year where I was unable to use it to get onto the internet. The problem I was having seemed simple enough for me to repair myself without taking it to some place that would suggest that it would be less expensive to just buy a new one. Well the bottom-​line is I did not have the knowledge or expertise to fix it, got bored trying and set it aside.
Need rendered me the proclivity to search for someone more clever then myself to tell me what was wrong and what was needed to get it running better than what it is currently. So I took a tour on ‘ Unilocal’ and read some clever reviews that suggested I make a few calls. My first call was to a group that simple had me on hold for about 4 minutes more or less until I hung-​up. Called Siedband Solutions… Gary was very responsive, listened to what issue I felt I was having, informed me of his rates and how he bill. We set-​up a probable date and time for me to drop it off with an alternate plan if I was not going to be able to meet the first arrangement. We met, I explained to the best of my ability, he made his suggestions and I left it with him to work his magic.
I could go on and on about the service that I experience from Siedband Solutions but the bottom-​line is this:

Well, Gary did everything to my computer. Figured out Windows installation, and put in AVG Free software for protection. That was years ago. Have not had to call him since. Oh and he figured out I needed a new Monitor. Got an awesome monitor from Best Buy. It was an AOC. Love it.

Gary gave him his usual outstanding service, and had his computer fixed, cleaned of viruses, and upgraded for considerably less than my cousin had anticipated, which made him not just happy, but delighted.

My mother, a senior citizen, lives in Chicago. Her computer was having issues, so I suggested we get someone to have a look at it. She told me she saw a flyer in her building from Siedband Solutions. Gary Siedband repairs computers, and also lives in her building. Seemed like a perfect solution. I suggested I would call him for her, and see if he sounded like he knew what he was doing.
Gary answered the phone the first time I called, and after listening to the issues, and asking a few questions, he generously give me some idea of what the problems might be, what he would do to fix them, and how much it would cost. He was friendly and sounded knowledgeable about computer repair. I felt comfortable having him go look at Mom’s computer.
Well, my Mom was very happy with Gary, who went above and beyond to repair her computer. He was very patient and explained how to do some basic computer tasks, helped her install a new browser, imported her bookmarks, and even added some RAM to her machine he had in his kit to help it run better.
My Mom’s computer runs better, and now we know who to call if she ever has a problem. Thanks Gary, great job!

Gary is the owner of Siedband Solutions. I got his name from a card that had been posted in my building and called him, not having a clue as to what I would get. Luckily, everything has worked out wonderfully. He’s been in to fix my computer on two different occasions. Both times, he’s fixed my problems and taught me a lot about my system, just as a byproduct. Although I keep hoping I won’t have to see him again, he is always a welcome and helpful sight.
