I had a wonderful experience this evening! I stopped in on my way home and was pleasantly surprised they were open:) I was in and out in less that twenty minutes for an oil change. The person that helped me was very friendly and even helped me to get my car out of the garage. It was also very affordable:) I would certainly recommend going here to friends.

BE CAREFUL! I wish I could put a negative star. These people sold me what the manager referred to as a «used tire in great condition». However, upon taking this to another auto-​body shop, this tire was extremely damaged to the point where metal was coming through and causing a slow leak– referred to as a «heat ring» that occurs from overuse.
I was under the impression I was going to a very reputable place of business and was horribly mistaken. Everyone, please be careful when going here as clearly their merchandise is not thoroughly examined prior to being sold.

Reasonably priced, take credit cards, nice, in and out in literally less than 10 minutes

Showed up at 10am on a Thursday for an oil change and to replace brake pads/​rotors… They started work on my car immediately. They said it would take about an hour so I walked to Starbucks (only a couple blocks away) and 30 minutes later got the call that everything was done.
$ 70 for Brake pads/​rotors and $ 30 for oil change… totally reasonable, fast service.

This is my second time here and both times they have helped me with no hesitation, unlike a few other places I’ve been. They have great customer service, great pricing and they are honest. If I ever need anything that they can help me with, this is where I’ll be.

This is a great no frills tire shop in the Logan Square area. I came on a Sunday afternoon (It is awesome they are open on Sundays btw) because of air leakage problems I was experiencing. Only one mechanic was there when I came in, and he was helping another customer in the garage before he took a look at my car. I was there for about an hour total while he cleaned the rims and repaired the other tire where a small nail had went in. $ 30 for both services was pretty reasonable. I had looked at prices at other places, and some charged $ 30 for the repair for one tire. I suspect the mechanic was also the owner, and he had a fantastic personality.

Quick, cheap, excellent service.

Amazing service. These people saved my life when I had a flat tire. They were friendly and efficient and the price was very fair.

Called for used tires. They didn’t have any for my Sienna. New tires were super expensive.

Changed my oil right away. He also let me know I barely had a quart of oil left in my car. The «recommended» 5w20 oil is probably what they used last time, which is burning up like water in my car with 150,000 miles on it. He put in 10w30, and topped off the fluids.

1. Called Sierra on a Friday morning at 10 am.
2. Received a quote about 30 seconds after describing the tires I wanted.
3. Brought my car to Sierra shortly after receiving the quote, and my tires were replaced in roughly 45 minutes.
4. The initial quote matched the amount I paid exactly. There was no haggling.
Too good to be true? One might think so, but Sierra has ~60 reviews and a near 5 star rating. That many people can’t be wrong. I’d recommend to anyone.

These guys are incredibly fast and good at what they do. I met both mechanic and the owner, and spent a good deal of time hanging out at the shop because a third party store initially sold me the wrong brakes and when we asked them to deliver the parts, took over 90 min… at which point we ended up cancelling the delivery order.
In any case, the mechanic is an incredibly nice gentleman. He’s been working with cars for over 22 years, and knows his stuff. He really looks out for you and I can tell he’s an honest guy. I first came to him with a flat tire, and without even asking, he just plugged the tire in like 5 minutes. I asked him for tire replacements, and he got all 4 tires mounted and balanced in 30 minutes. All done for a reasonable price.
I later went to this shop to get my brakes changed. The owner was incredibly generous with providing services on the condition that I had to get my own parts. This was nice in a way, because I knew that the parts weren’t marked up or anything… but it was quite inconvenient. If I had the right parts, getting my brakes changed would have been done in about an hour. As it would be, the third party store I bought my parts from sold me the wrong ones and we had to wait for the right parts to be delivered. In any case, the mechanic took a look at my rear brakes and told me they were actually new, and that I didn’t need to replace them — saved me about 120 bucks. The front brakes were changed, and they work like a charm.
It wasn’t their fault at all that I had to wait for the parts to be delivered. The mechanic was generous and offered me a free oil change for the wait though.
Overall, I’m really happy with their services. You can tell that this is an honest shop, and that the mechanic is very good at his craft. As a word of caution, these guys are BOOKED from 12−3pm, at least that’s what the mechanic told me. I’ll probably get my wheels aligned from them soon :).

Fast and affordable.

I went to this shop based on Unilocal reviews. I was in a hurry and didn’t do my normal pricing research. I am very happy with the two new tires balancing and some work on the anti sway suspension. They matched the exact model of my two other tires at my request. It’s a four wheel drive Dodge Dakota btw. The truck now drives very smoothly even at 85mph.
Although I have not double checked pricing I know it was pretty good overall. The communication, speed of service, and overall experience was excellent.

My pressure on one tire was alarmingly low so I stopped in here, they filled my tire and checked it for leaks in no time at all and then it all checked out fine. I insisted on giving payment for his trouble and he wouldn’t take it so this is my attempt at showing my gratitude haha. He and his daughter were very kind, will definitely be back for anything else I need.

Got a flat tire and threw on the spare. A minute down the road my spare was flat. drove 2 mph from Palmer square on my spare to Sierra tire shop.
Sierra tire shop got me in with no hassle and threw on a tire in under 15 minutes.
Service was great. Hard to find this fast of a shop in the city

Went to Cassidy first and was treated poorly like I’m an idiot who doesn’t know anything about cars. Hightailed it out of there and went to Sierra based on Unilocal reviews and am so glad I did. I was in and out of the shop in under 30 min, treated very nicely by the owner’s daughter and the mechanic, they found a slow leak, put the tire in a big tub of soap and water and showed me the issue, suggested replacement, found a used tire that worked. Whole ordeal cost me under $ 75 and I was VERY happy with the level of service and quality of the work.

Flat tires are the worst. These guys are the best, though. I went to a different tire shop initially (driving all the way from Old Town to Logan during rush hour on my rim didn’t sound like a good plan) but that place didn’t have the size used tire we needed. So a few days (and fortunately like 40 degrees warmer) I made my way here after calling to confirm they had a matching tire for me.
I get nervous driving in tight spaces, so the entrance via an alleyway into the small 2 car garage was a bit unnerving, but they helped tell me how to pull in… and about 6 minutes later pull back out. It was SO quick! I sat down in the lobby after picking the tire (lots of varieties in a small space!) and didn’t even have time to Check-​In on Unilocal before he said it was done. From what I can tell — and the hubby gave it a more thorough look over as well — it seems like a pretty good tire (well, to match the other 3 used tires.) and great price at only $ 45. Easy peasy!

Had a leaking tire. I’m glad they open on Sunday and so early. Explain my issue and they took down my tire and found the nail right away. Everything took less than 10 minutes. It was $ 15 to fix the tire.
I would definitely be back here for other tire related work. Extremely helpful and professional.

My vehicle had a low rear tire and the guys at Sierra welcomed me in BEFORE their normal hour to see about a fix.
Ten minutes later the plug was in and I was leaving as a happy customer.
