I’ve been to Silk Road twice since it’s actually in the first floor of the building I work in. Both times I was less than impressed. I had General Tso’s the first time and orange chicken the next. Both had been under the heat lamps for too long and were less than fresh, even though I take my lunch at a pretty typical lunchtime of 12:30 — 1:30. Their vegetable fried rice is tasteless. Silk Road seems like a small chain that is only one step up from Panda Express. I don’t like when fast food Chinese food is called Chinese food.

Location is hidden in an alley. Decent quick Chinese for a fair price. Tough to work in the afternoon if you eat here — the temptation to sleep at one’s desk can be overwhelming.
