Terrible place!!! I usually never make reviews for any business but these people ripped me off and lied about what boats they had. It’s a very crappy boat and furthermore don’t believe anything the lady selling these tickets says about her deal of hearing them for $ 15. It’s a scam. Trust me just run away

I previously had a post on here that I was paid for to put up. It was before I actually went on a cruise. Very dishonest of me. I sincerely apologize. Very unprofessional and crooked company that I wasted almost 3 months working for. You do NOT get what you pay for. I apologize to everyone who I had waste money on cruise tickets for this company I wish I could reimburse you all. BEWARE of ROMAN THE «C.E.O.» of the company. He is a drunk and former Chicago Police Officer who will try to use that to his advantage but DO NOT trust him! This is a Warning! DO NOT WASTE YOUR $ ON THESE FAKE CRUISE TICKETS because you will receive horrible customer service, ride around in a WATER TAXI NOT BOAT and will not receive what you pay for! He posts all pictures of the Valara boat but takes you on The Summer of George Water Taxi! The food was horrible, the drinks were over priced, and the service sucked! WASTE OF $!!!

First and foremost I have no idea why Unilocal has not posted any other reviews if there is an enormous list of reviews from people that are not «recommended» reviews that are not visible when you search for this unprofessional place. The first time I called the owner/​bartender/​promoter/​captain/​etc (because he runs it all!!!) Roman he was very rude right from the beginning.
My hard working mom was tricked into buying these stupid tickets (birthday surprise). When I called for information he told me that all people had to pay for a departure fee. I thought ok no problem, but then he started saying that there was an $ 8 dollar fee for each drink and everyone had to get a 2 minimum drink. I told him I had a couple of people that didn’t drink and he said it didn’t matter pop, water, alcohol, everything was $ 8.
And he actually had a website now, what a joke!!! He is in almost all the pictures!!! I’m taking this to the BBB to close this «Skyline Cruises Roman Enterprises» down. Search all the reviews and you will see for your self that this place is a scam. He text me today saying that his 2014season was open for RSVP’s haaaaaa what a joke!

Awful awful awful!.these people are not professional. Sloppy phone & business skills. You think your getting like a $ 15-​$ 20 deal next thing you know they come up with bogus boat fees before you get there & then when you do get there they rip you off even further. these people are sleazy snakes. TAKE YOUR MONEY & RUN!(if only no stars was an option)

Same as other review, woman walks into my daughters workplace with wonderful boat tickets and we purchase three pairs. Numerous times we called him for reservations and he would ask you to call back for whatever reason or would offer to return your call which never happened. Finally we got some dates open after about 10 calls and then he wants to know what the tickets state is the «departure fee» which usually means fee you pay on departure, right? Wrong, Mr. Roman wants that per ticket and $ 16.50 per ticket for minimum drinks paid over the phone before he takes your reservation. So in order to make a reservation, he wanted to charge my credit card $ 150.00. After arguing that departure fee is at departure, he argued that «I should read the small print on the card» like I was stupid. I told him I was reading the small print and it said nothing of the sorts. Thinking back on the numerous calls I made, which should of been a red flag, but giving the benefit of the doubt, I remember telling him that the” few days” he had to offer the dinner cruises were hard for us due to our occupations and schedules and I mentioned what we did in passing, one of us being a sheriff, he could not get me off the phone fast enough. So lesson learned, and 60 bucks lighter:(This is a scam, save your money, Roman is a crook. I would of rather given the money to a homeless person, than this crooked Latino, whom is making mega bucks stiffing people. My next stop, checking with the City of Chicago to see if this guy is legate. STAY AWAY!!!

Ooh, boy. Where do I begin?
My friends and coworkers were all working on a regular day and some Lady walked into our location stating she had a great promotion and it was only $ 50 dlrs for 6 tickets with Skyline Cruises Roman Enterprises, wow what a deal– we all decided to buy 4 $ 50 dlr packages of 6 tickets each for a 2 hour tour that include open bar, food, dancing and the tickets and no expiration day woooow – I thought it’d be perfect. Of course it sounded too good to be true because it was.
So after a few months I decided to give this place a try after numerous calls to the ONLY number provided on the tickets, I finally got someone on the phone (Receptionist, owner, sales man, party coordinator/​OWNER: answered the phone & stated that there was only 2 days out of the month that you can schedule your cruise date… oh and SURPRISE!!! there is a $ 9 dollar departure fee that was never mention at the time of purchase, (they neglected to mention this when I asked how it worked before purchasing the tickets oh yeah – the person that sold me the tickets said you can bring your kids no problem and they will have a great time but wait: now the owner ” Roman is the only person the answers the phone and he stated that you can only bring the kids during the day & there is a 2 drink minimum per person $ 10.50 each SMART, right? So now I have to pay $ 54 in departure fees and $ 126 in non alcoholic drinks plus the $ 50 that I already pay TOTAL of = $ 230 dlrs wow so much for paying only $ 50 — he also said ”oh well you should of read the ticket and call me right away now it’s too late ”. I waited a ridiculous amount of time listening to the owner talking. Roman was extremely unprofessional and ruthless to myself and co-​workers, I asked him several times to address the issue because I think is really unfair to pay $ 10.50 per drink when my kids are only going to drink soda, he was talking to us as if we were incompetent, belligerent individuals all we asked the owner Roman was for what could be done for us since we were NOT told about this 2 drink minimum ??? I don’t want them” free” I just don’t agree on paying $ 126 dlr for SODA but he just didn’t understand and would not stop talking to us like we were children. I think this is a very funny way to run a business and sooner or later he will be out of business if he continues to misinformed his customers.
Cruises Roman Enterprises had good ideas but no follow-​through, and everything seems executed extremely poorly. If it had been what it was advertised as, it would’ve been pretty darn awesome. Instead: hugely disappointing. I’ll not be a returning customer after this horrible experience.
