Jules, The Chicago-​based founder of Spellbinding Color Concepts, has over a decade of experience working within the makeup industry. Using both traditional and airbrush makeup applications, Jules’s work exhibits a wide range of creativity and innovation and includes national commercial campaigns, runway shows, charity and private events, weddings, headshots and any other occasion where makeup is involved.

Jules did my make up for my boudoir shoot. I was so lucky she was there! Not only did she do an amazing job on my makeup with no trial. She made me FEEL beautiful. Which is super important when you are going to be exposed in front of a camera. She was calm and so very kind!

I cannot say enough about Jules! She is an INCREDIBLE makeup artist! She did my makeup for my wedding in August and I could not give her a higher recommendation. I have never felt so beautiful! I still look at photos and feel my eyes well up with tears. Thank you, Jules!
PS: She is also an amazing stylist. She has great recommendations for photos and really ramped up the quality of our wedding photos!

I keep looking at my face in the mirror trying to figure out how is this hottie Me?! Jules did such a fabulous job making my makeup perfect for my pin up girl photo shoot at Chicago PinUp Photography.
Even tho my eyes would get squinty she was so patient with me and made me look like a bombshell!
I cant wait until I need to look this pretty again because I know who I will call!!! Wonderful amazing work! Thank you!!!

Jules is one talented lady! She did my makeup, as well as my partner’s makeup, for our Civil Union this past May. She looked at our dresses and knew right away what colors would work best. And she was right on! She made me sparkle for my big day, and my beloved looked even more gorgeous than she already did. I highly recommend Jules and we will definitely hire her again for important formal events.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. Planning my own wedding was easily one of the most stressful experiences I have ever had (and I’m a CPS teacher!), but Jules, of Spellbinding Color Concepts made the «makeup-​hair-​style» portion of the day a million times easier. For starters, SHE came to ME. Yup. House call. One less place to run to on my wedding day? Yes, please! She helped me to *relax*. She listened to me talk (a LOT) about how I wanted to look like a traditional Indian bride, but still look like me (a modern American gal), and then she went to work.
I was stunned when I saw myself. It was as if someone had Photoshopped me. My skin was perfect, my features popped, and I didnt feel like I was wearing a mask. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Thanks Jules!

Jules is wonderful! She did my makeup when I got married last year and I couldn’t have been happier. She took the time to listen to what I wanted at our makeup trial and chose wonderful colors that complemented me. She made me feel naturally beautiful and fresh for my wedding day and the makeup lasted ALL DAY. Despite the 90 degree, cloudless outdoor ceremony, I had to do very little touching up for the reception. I never felt weighted down or made-​up. Her work was flawless. I recommend Jules to anyone because she really takes care of her clients!

Jules Fleming is a genius makeup technician! I had the pleasure of working with her recently for my theater headshots. She took the time of making me feel comfortable upon arrival to the shoot. We talked and laughed and I felt like I was talking to one of my lifelong friends. After a while, I had forgotten: A. That I had just met her and B. That she had been doing makeup the whole time! Her putting me at ease caused me to have a relaxed shoot and as a result, I love the final product of my pictures. I felt like she just knew what colors would look great on me. She also took into account my style and didn’t do anything that I wouldn’t have even recognized! (Lol.) I would in a heartbeat recommend this company and artist to anyone. You won’t regret it!
