History

Established in 1991.

Special Solutions Ltd., our Parent company, was founded in 1991 by Chicago P.I. John Frycek. Spy Source and Total Security grew from it and were founded in 2001. Electronic Harassment and Covert Surveillance became a large part of our business around that time, facilitating the need for a separate division to deal exclusively with those two things.

We are well-​versed in the phenomenon known as EMF Hyper Sensitivity, and receive regular calls from all over the country for devices to counteract the effects that people from all walks of life experience.

We continue to pursue Investigations, Protection and Special Security right into the present day.

For 28 years now, Chicago P.I. John Frycek has been a pillar of the Chicago Detective community.

Working cases both Local and National, he has been an instrumental part of investigations, sting operations, surveillance, and professional protection.

Corporate Executives to Celebrities, Professional Politicians to Professional Athletes, John has been trusted with their well-​being whether here in Chicago or travelling on the road.

Certified as a Professional Protection Specialist and Certified Forensic Interviewer, he has assisted Federal law enforcement agencies with missing persons cases, terrorism investigations, high risk warrants and subpoenas, and even murder investigations.

On ⁹⁄₁₁ John’s team was part of the phalanx surrounding the smoldering World Trade Center so that first responders could do the harrowing job of saving survivors.

A genuine detective in the truest sense of the word, John continues his mission to assist people in tough situations to this very day.
