This place is very fast but they’re very sloppy at making some of their drinks, especially their frappuccinos. One time I ordered a caramel frappuccino and they had to double cup it because it was spilling. I tried my best to clean it with a couple napkins but it tasted horrible so I just asked for a new one to be made. Everytime I ask for extra caramel they never seem to do that either. Another time I ordered a white mocha latte and I didn’t taste the white mocha until I got to the end of my drink, I took a sip and there was a horrible taste. I guess the syrup was just sitting at the bottom. They have four people by the register, two to take your order and two to write on the cups. Yet they only have one to two people making drinks. But other than their sloppy drinks, the baristas are very kind and friendly.

Give yourself plenty of time if you go in the morning… this place is always PACKED. They do a good job getting through people, usually 3 cashiers and 3 baristas, but still usually a bit of a wait in a tiny tiny store.

Try the coffee — they’re famous for it. If you like fancy coffee, Starbucks also serves lattes and other coffee bean-related drinks. Since you’re probably not familiar with Starbucks, let me explain… The product is consistent — always good. The original one is in Seattle. It’s small, so don’t waste time flying out there to check it out. Chances are you can just go here and have a better experience anyway.

Great Service i though… Very nice people… Quick server… They forgot to give me sugar for my Ice Tea… But then they fixed it though… I would go back again.

This is the teeny, tiny Starbucks in the Leo Burnett Building(otherwise known as the building with the Protein Bar and Wow Bao on State and Lake). I would never camp out here to do any work. This location serves to caffeinate those in the area, and it really shows in their efficiency. Do not be dismayed by the long lines in the morning that snake out the door and down the hallway — these baristas move fast and have their system down. Plus, there is usually someone handing out samples. Super friendly baristas in a high traffic location. My favorite part of the morning is when one of them is stumped by my name and just calls me «venti soy latte» instead. ;)

I love the coffee from this particular location, the girls there always give my coffee and extra kick. Wifi comes in and out, but thats because they have clear internet. Sandwiches are very fresh and some i have never heard of… Got excited, dont get to see exotic sandwiches on my side of town this often.

Granted I’m coming here during the fall, the wind is just starting to pick up, and this is a nice respite from the biting upcoming cold front. The people here are friendly and patient(I wasn’t here when there was a line out the door though) — 5 stars! The music here is at an acceptable level — 4 stars(seems like I’ll give stars for anything!). It’s connected to a pedway with a few other stores and though I haven’t explored yet I’m sure is connected to some sort of transportation which is NICE — 5 stars. The selection of food here is pretty small — 3 stars. There are some flies flying here and there — 2 stars(I guess even the little buggers like to be warm). The seating area is in a weird layout — 3 stars. So… average… 4 stars? I need to go back to school.

This is the second best Starbucks in the city.(#1= Starbucks on north ave & wabash. open 24/7)…yes it’s busy here and the line can get insanely long during the rush periods but it moves quickly. The staff are amazing here, they are efficient, smart, friendly and they get to know their customers. If you’re a regular, they know what you want and have it ready for you quickly. It helps that it’s located inside the Leo Burnett building. Nice people frequent this place and since it’s kind of tucked away, most tourists never notice it.hooray.I like the tourists stimulating our economy but they tend to slow down a very smooth process. Pedway access is a definite plus during our cold winter months.

I don’t dare come here before 10AM — the line is just too long. But if you come here for a mid-day pick-me-up, it’s a really nice location. Staff is friendly, yet quick. And they don’t bat an eye when I order my usual: Tall Chai Tea Latte Soy @ 120°.(Don’t hate, I just don’t want to burn my tongue.) There was that one sassy barista who made fun of my drink temperature. I haven’t seen her since. Assuming she got transferred to Starbucks Siberia. Love the Starbucks rewards card for free soy milk substitutions. And their lemon cake is always delicious!

This Starbucks is super-conveniently located for me(It’s in the lobby of my building) so I am here at least once a day Monday-Friday. Amy is right that there is usually a pretty long line in the mornings(all us advertising folks need our caffeine fix). However, the line generally moves pretty quickly and the employees try to get orders filled as quickly as possible. Since I am a regular here, my order is often rung up before I even approach the register(I love that). The employees are so friendly that it does make the wait and the early morning rush a bit more bearable.

Why is it so hard to get into this Starbucks fromthe outside? My big problem is this: I got a Venti Latte and it had one shot in it. That tastes pretty disgusting. Since I was on my way to my office several blocks away and was racing with the clock I did not go back. but I am not about to throw away the cost aof a venti latte so I called, and was told just to come in, tell them what happened, and they would replace it. Great! This starbucks is out of my way(I normally take the red line, but this day I took the blue line from someone elses house) and I went out of my way the next day to get my latte compensation. Of COURSE they did not remember me, had no idea what I was talking about, and would not honor that promise. I can understand that, EXCEPT two baristas shared an obvious eye roll. This burns my hide. NOTHING bothers me more than a place that treats me like a scammer or a theif when I make a complaint.

This is my favorite Starbucks. It’s located in the Leo Burnett Building, which is easily accessible for me via the pedway. It’s perfect for cold winter mornings! The employees are always smiling and having fun. I’m not kidding. They really are! It’s a nice way to start the morning. Also, this location is open on Saturdays when many other Starbucks in the area are not. The only bad thing about this location is that a line tends to form. A big line. A line out the door and down the hallway. But, if you get there early enough the line isn’t too big.
