Starbucks

Too close for comfort to get my morning coffee — This place is too small and when I am here, I get pushed around when I wait to order and waiting for my drink. Coffee is consistant but I rather walk another few blocks for a larger Starbucks.

This location is SMALL and CRAMPED, but they some how move quick enough to make me not go postal up in here. The employees are also friendly, which helps.

I swing by this place on my way into work for a double dirty chai iced! It kicks off my day and is delicious. I always pay via Starbucks app, just makes life easier. Thank you Starbucks for being technologically advanced in terms of your pay system
Be prepared to wait in line, as there is always a line. Luckily, these baristas are pros and get those drinks out stat, so I can move along to my place of employment.

Not your typical Starbucks as it is small and more like an express. The staff was nice and knew exactly what an «Arnold Palmer» was and made it quite nicely. Has outdoor seating for good weather and an all around good in and out to the average Starbucks.

Located in 161 N. Clark office building. Not your typical Starbucks in that it is about as tight as you can get and the line goes out the door in the mornings. No place to sit and barely room to stand but they seem to make the most of it. I’m in the building so I frequent this location for my morning fix. They get everyone in and out efficiently and the staff is generally pretty friendly.

Ok for a Starbucks I must say I really like this one. I come downtown for work frequently and whenever I come into this location I get FAST good service. The Barista asked how he could help me with a nice smile on his face and on my last visit I was still putting my credit card into my wallet and my drink already came out! super fast!
This location is not a sit down and graze Starbucks it is a take it and go location very narrow and small and if you blink or don’t work in the building you may miss it :) so keep your eyes open.
This location is very clean especially the area where the napkins, cream, sugar etc… are, which in some locations can sometimes be a dirty mess.
Good warm drink on what has been a really long and cold winter in Chicago :)

I work in this building so I obviously love that this Starbucks is as conveniently located as possible, but one of the other reasons I loved coming here was for the staff. I’ve been coming here almost daily for 3 years and every employee knew me by name, knew my drink order, and went out of their way to be friendly, pleasant, and helpful– a bright spot in my work day, for sure. Over the past few months most of those favorite employees have been let go under some new management. I don’t know the reason why, but I do know that the customer service from the employees that have cycled through since is pretty average (and sometimes annoying) in comparison…
The bad news is that I miss those awesome employees so much that I’m not nearly as inclined to make a trip down to Starbucks every day. The good news is that my wallet appreciates it.

Love Love Love this Starbucks! The girls that work here are great — they know all the regulars’ drinks and treat everyone like VIP. My co-​worker and I go every day… and it’s always a treat to break up the work day with a trip to this Starbucks, as they are always fun and full of positive energy!

Quick drink when I need a break from work. Cozy, to-​go Starbucks at 161.
Nice staff but pastries (i.e. my hard lemon loaf from this morning) could use some improvement.
Otherwise they have everything else you’d expect from Starbucks.

Much like Amy H said, this Starbuck’s is a to-​go. It’s the size of a broom closet or a drive thru without the cars, but people instead. Every morning, this location is packed to the gills with people getting there coffee fix entering from the street or from inside of the building where a long line gathers near the pedway. Generally, the baristas are fast when I have my once in a blue moon Starbucks desire. Sometimes though, they completely forgot my order and then I have to wait ten minutes as the line gets longer and I get more impatient. Overall, it’s a decent Starbucks where you won’t get WiFi, a chair, or any ambience for that matter. You’ll just get your coffee fast (usually).

I like to call this location Starbuck’s To-​Go. It’s a small narrow storefront with no seating. You get your coffee and get out. The best thing about this Starbuck’s is that the barista makes the coffee fast! I love that, because I tend to go to this location when I don’t have time to wait in line at the Leo Burnett building.
