Stepping Stones Nursery School is a home daycare and pre-​school based in an historic building in the Logan Square Neighbourhood.

We are now accepting children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Stepping Stones provides:

An individualised ‘step by step’ approach to learning and development in a loving home environment.

Qualified British teacher with 12 years teaching experience.

A creative, play-​based curriculum.

Two outdoor areas for children to play and explore, including a children’s garden.

Home-​made, organic meals and snacks provided.

Victoria Hilton (Owner/​Lead Teacher):

Twelve years teaching experience, including 5 years at the British School of Chicago.

Experience writing differentiated curricula for children with learning difficulties and/​or gifted & talented.

Experience with multiple intelligences and assessment for learning.

Rated by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Schools and The Council of International Schools.

Bsc (Hons) Psychology — specialised in child development.

Post Graduate Certificate in Education — advanced early years specialist.

Post Graduate Certificate in teaching English as a Second Language.

Certified educational tester — qualified to use published intelligence tests to screen for LD or gifted.

Awarded the Eco-​Schools European Green Flag for environmental achievements in a school setting.

Certified in First Aid and CPR.
