The production of «The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee» was a delightful and entertaining experience. The $ 20 general admission ticket enables an entire family to enjoy the play.
It’s a relief to see a play with no F word.
What a talented set of cast and performers. Enthusiasm in bringing characters distinct characters to life. You can see spit, sweat and eweness in the performance. Move over NYC Broadway! Set design is better than an Off Broadway show.
The story was easy to follow.
All unique singing voices complimented each other and became one cohesive voice. Definitely much better than Idina Menzel’s If/​Then show.
My concerns are:
— microphone transmission. Is it intentional? Gap and buzzing.
— visual presence of the musician. That side light is certainly bright. Can you move to the side and behind the curtain?
