I wish it were possible to give zero stars. Have had nothing but horrible experiences with this company. Filed my Federal tax return back in March after being a J1 visa holder and still haven’t got my return. They said they had filed it forever ago only to discover they haven’t. Have had to submit the same paperwork multiple times. Losing hope I will ever get my money I am owed.

I want to put 0 stars for their terrible and lazy service. Slow transaction. No answer. I sent all document in middle March and I received the message saying we are on process now.
I should’ve used turbotax… I won’t use
again!!! VERY POOR SERVICE.

I don’t even want to give them ONE star, but unfortunately, there is no option to give them ZERO stars.
is the WORST company I have ever tried to do my taxes through. I was dealing with someone called Ekaterina, and then passed on to someone else called Evgeni. I am not originally from the U. S, so I needed to find a company that would do my taxes, with all my visa paperwork. I filed everything on time, for my 2013 taxes (yes, 2013), and
said I owed X amount, which I paid. I found out they were based in Dublin, so I had to wire money over — spending money to wire money over, even though I was also owed money (which makes no sense to me). After this, it took
SO long to file my taxes, they informed me that tax laws had changed and I now owed an absurd amount. I asked for my money back because I wanted to go through another company instead, which I found out was reputable, and
then told me they had already filed the money to the IRS. I then went to the IRS to check the status of my tax file, and they told me nothing had been filed! No data available. I was livid. Fortunately, I got my money back, and am now going through H&R Block.
has been the worst experience. They are a scam, please do not use them — letting everyone know that this is the worst company, ever.

I cannot even explain how difficult taxback makes it for me. They have absolutely no communication established with customers. They never contact me with updates. I never see the original documents which they exchange with IRS. It is very badly managed company.
I def do not recommend.

Do not use
. They charge you fortune from every possible thing. I used it to do get my super back from Australia and they charged me 500 $.I admit i should have asked quote before but every time I have used any tax back service they have never charged me more than 100.-. You get carried away coz they tell you your estimate taxback and and ask you to sign papers asap to proceed.
I do not recommend them but if you decide to use they service make sure to get quote before.

I should write this down to let other people know what happened between this company and me.
keeps telling that they can get you a free tax refund estimation, so I asked to have a free estimation, and they told me if I didn’t request to proceed, they wouldn’t do so. Then they send me a package of document asked me to sign so they could get me estimation. I didn’t think too much and reviewed every detail in the document since you said so.
But this company is trying to deter clients! The documents I signed were asked them to process my tax refund. Excuse me, from the beginning I only said I want a free estimation!!! I don’t want you to do anything else. And now they’re charging me $ 90!!!
Maybe it’s my problem I didn’t read the documents carefully. But if you want a free estimation, forget about it. They’ll direct you to a way where you have to hire them to file your tax refund, once you contact ‘em.
So terrible. What an awful experience. I’ll never ever get related with this company.
Maybe you have some decent experiences with them. It’s just my personal experience that I want to let some other people who are not native English speakers know. Don’t let them deter you because of your poor English.

I used
to file my 2012 taxes from the states after I had worked there less than a year in March 2013. It is now a year later and my federal tax refund (of around $ 600 after all their fess and deductions) has still not bee returned.
I have sent constant emails and received nothing but delays blaming everything from the state department losing my application to the federal shut down. I have no idea who to file with this year but never again with
. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

NEVER EVER do business with
First of all, refund calculator is gives you much better sum of money upfront, but after you submit all your paper work and agree to service agreement the fees are going to start piling up. Handling fees, banking fees, they «lost» my taxes and asked to pay re-​filing fees. At the end you will get a lot of head ache and lose lots of money. Find some other company that would do a much better service.

It is unfortunate that the first review has to be a negative one but my fiancé was told by her company that she was interning for to use
because they would provide a discount for employees. Advertised on their website that they provided discounts for employees of certain companies but when it came time to pay for the service they claimed that they would not provide a discount and that there was no such thing.
