Our store is called The Sometimes Store because we’re only open sometimes. We’ve never had a regular, open-everyday retail operation because we’re three girls on the hustle, who don’t have time to be shop-girls. We’ve sold clothes out of an infamous ex-boyfriend’s old bedroom, a gay nightclub, and even out of a storefront owned by a witch. Currently, we have two showrooms — one in Chicago and the other in Brooklyn. We’re known for being cheap, but we don’t sell crap and none of our stuff smells like pee.

History
Established in 2009.
The Sometimes Store started off as a way for three young, broke women (Alysse, Christine, and Kirsten) to make some extra money. Kirsten had a bunch of old clothes from her old online store, and Christine had a spare bedroom after she broke up with her infamous boyfriend. They put the two together and The Sometimes Store was born.
