I have had my nails done at Tres Bien every 3 to 4 weeks since July and have yet to be disappointed! I am usually in for a no-​chip manicure with the occasional pedicure as well. My best experience so far has been with Mogi, but I have not been disappointed with any of the other technicians! They have a fantastic color selection and reasonable rates!

Perfect customer service, skilled workers and they massage you while you wait for your nails to dry. The shop is classic Lincoln Park with a lofty design and hidden rooms to perform the different services they offer. I experienced Tres Bien Nails, for the 1st time, after shoe shopping in the area yesterday. I will be a regular now:)

Best nail salon in the neighborhood. Have been going for manicures, pedicures, and no-​chips for the last 5 years and have always been extremely satisfied with my service. Great selection of colors. Everyone is incredibly friendly and makes sure that you are comfortable. You can’t beat their Wednesday deal: a mani + pedi for $ 35! I have since moved out of the neighborhood and still come back!

Walked in for a pedi & mani. They got me in & had a large selection of colors. Grace did a great job, she was gentle and gave a good massage during the mani & pedi. I live in river north, but will definitely be taking the train ride back when I need my nails done again.

Went to Tres Bien for a last minute manicure while waiting for my waxing appointment at the Benefit Boutique. The man at the register was very kind, the service was well done, and the price point was fair. I would go back again.

Overall it is an OK place to get your nails done. My no chip nails are already chipped on Sunday and I got them done on Wednesday… I paid $ 60 and the nails were very stripey. It was my third coat and it was super uneven. I don’t know if I’ll go back. Sad it didn’t work out since I read such great reviews.

Have done no chip here twice and they’re great! Highly recommend the place– very expansive color selections for no chip more than any place I’ve gone to. If you want no chip ask for Stella she does an amazing job!

Tres Bien is a great neighborhood mani/​pedi spot. I’ve been going there for years. Eugene works to fit you in and the team of nail technicians are great! My daughter points out when I get a pedicure and the new colors.

Not sure Susan had any real training. Kept trying to ignore mistakes and I had to repeatedly ask her to fix basic things like not straight edges and getting the polish on my skin not the nail. The end result is my cuticles look no different, and despite the fact it’s no-​chip, the colour isn’t even. After a day of «no-​chip» there are small chips appearing on the end of my nails. Wouldn’t go back — go to spa spazzio round the corner for technicians with some actual training.

Too expensive for the quality of nail care. I’d rather go somewhere else and pay less. For their price point, I expect more. I went with 4 girlfriends and we all had the same opinion.

I had the most amazing chair massage by Susan. I felt so relaxed in just 15 short minutes. It was a perfect way to let my nails dry and continue my spa day.
As for the nails, everything from the experience, to the selections, to the price is great. They have a large selection of colors and brands and there is no up charge for Vinylux as opposed to a regular manicure.
I felt the manicure itself could have been a little better and lasted a little longer but I think it definitely depends who does it. My friend is a big fan of Vicki and/​or Stella.
Overall, would recommend and conveniently located to the brown line and Art Effect which is a great store ;)

I live right next door and came in for a no-​chip manicure over 2 weeks ago. My nails are still perfect and without chips! The nail technician– I can remember her face but not her name– really took her time with my nails and did a great job. Most of the employees are Korean (so am I) and I thought they were very hospitable! It seemed quieter and cleaner than typical salons. This is definitely my go-​to place.

I work next door at the spa and needed a quick Mani since its been a busy week with Holiday just a couple days away. Mogi was so accommodating. I told her I had a patient in 45 mins and just wanted a quick mani. She did a hand massage and proper cuticle tx and color came out great. The seven day color is great. she is very bery nice and her gratitude for customers is phenomenal. Very impressed :) cute quiet salon. Very comfortable! !! Well spent $ 15!

No frills salon, BUT by far the best no-​chip I’ve ever had. I must admit, I came in a bit late in the day– about a half an hour before close on Saturday, however, my manicurist, Grace, was very sweet, took her time and was very detailed in her work. Not once did I feel rushed and she carefully applied 3 coats til my mani was beyond perfect. I highly recommend giving them a shot!

I came in to get my no chip fixed because a week later it was almost all off and my manicures usually last 3 weeks. They fixed with same color for 10 dollars… 2 peeled completely off 14 hours later… I came in and The owner insisted on giving me the same polish that was obviously faulty TWICE OR I could pay 20 dollars for a new color/​brand. Accusing me of picking it off purposefully as if I have the time and desire to do such a thing. Done with this place. Pearls is the best.

Went here for the first time yesterday only because the first salon I chose (that had a special) was full but I will definitely be back. The salon is very clean and the workers extremely nice. I got my no chip manicure done by Vickie who was very attentive to my nails and made great conversation.

Awful, just awful. I’d give zero stars If I could. I am a mani/​pedi lover so I’d consider myself a seasoned guest. I am not fussy but I think my experience was disgusting.
My pedicure was VERY RUSHED (it lasted exactly 18 minutes??? WTF!) & very painful. My tech was cuticle cutting crazy and made me bleed. The massage was essentially non existent, and my heels left in the exact same condition they arrived in due to the lack of buffering. She got nail polish on my sandals, and just left it there! I had to ask her to remove it! I went on a Wednesday and the special is mani/​pedi combo for price of only pedicure… the pedicure was so awful, I declined the manicure bc I feared for my cuticles. I will never ever come.
