Took 2 ½ weeks to get phone repaired properly. Severed home button while repairing screen on phone., Took multiple times to finally get home button order correct.
Poor customer service, does not follow up on orders, does not have products for repairs in stock. Makes you pay for a new screen when screen pops open after their repair.
Overall extremely frustrating experience, would not recommend to anyone I know (or don’t know).

Junior fixed my phone 2 weeks ago — badly cracked screen. It was perfect — done in about 25 minutes for about $ 100! He was friendly, explained what the process was and it was awesome. I highly recommend the South Loop location! Thank you, Junior!

Excellent service and low cost alternative to replacing the whole phone. The new screen is perfect and the technician tested everything in front of me. They tell you it’ll take an hour but mine was fixed in 45mins. Great location with plenty of parking and nearby places to wait it out.

I broke the screen on my ipad2 and took it to them right away
They had the part I needed on hand and was able to replace it even though there was a slight possibility I had damaged the lcd as well
In and out lickity split and not nearly as expensive as mailing it off to Apple to get them to replace it.

The manager of the store helped me personally. I bought a refurbished phone off eBay, it had so many problems and I wasn’t able to get a refund. Ubreakifix saved me from a lemon purchase the manager was able to replace a few things for very cheap and the phone worked as if it was brand new. I am now tempted to start buying all my electronics broken so that I can keep these bargains going.

Hands down the best customer service I’ve ever received. We all know the high stress that ensues when you break your device… that’s not the case at all at this store. The personnel at UBreakIFix are incredibly understanding, speedy and of course skilled. I had a shattered screen and was able to be in and out in under 18 minutes. I highly recommend checking them out if you find yourself in a bind with your device. Totally worth the money!

I had my phone screen and camera replaced in San Diego and when they returned it to me, the flash stopped working. After I had the flash fixed my camera, home button, and power button were all not working properly so I came to the location in Chicago to have the warranty fix it. The owner/​manager told me the power button was livable and that I don’t have to have it fully click and functional to have a working phone, and he then continued to argue with me. This has been by far the worst phone repair experience I’ve ever had. I’ve spent a total of 6 hours waiting to talk to people and get my phone fixed.

I read nothing but good things about this place so I decided to go check it out. My phone had been wet and I figured it was worth a try to get it checked out before replacing. I took it in the morning and called in after to work to check the status. When I called they said that it was being wrapped up and to swing on by to check it out. I asked if it was working to which the guy seemed to be busy so I said I would just go in prior to him answering.
I go in and they tell me that it was unable to be fixed and that they are sorry — they tried EVERYTHING. The way they were acting seemed sketchy so on my way home I stopped at a local phone fixing shop, they said they would open it up and check it while I was there. Sure enough, they open it and notice that there a cable that had been, in their words, ripped off. They change the battery and the phone turns on. They say that they will sell me the battery and replace the cable that had been replaced but I would have to leave it over night so they could get the piece.
The guy says if it was working prior to you getting it wet, then the last place you took it (uBreakiFix) must have ripped the cable and said that there was nothing they could do so they would not have to replace it for you. That cable is responsible for getting wifi/​signal (look up iphone 5 wifi antenna).
So I ended up writing to ubreakifix and am waiting to hear back. I hope they can amend this because I had to pay more due to their mistake.

Received my «repaired» phone back from this store and within minutes it was acting up. When I brought the phone back, I was told that the screen was damaged. Considering that the phone had done nothing while it was with me but sit untouched on a flat surface, I would have to believe that if the screen was damaged, it is because it was damaged in the factory or during repair. Ubreakifix refused to fix the mistake, instead insisting that I pay another $ 150 so that they can again put in a bad screen. No thank you.

I dropped and completely shattered the screen of my iPhone 6. Made an appointment online so quick and easy and was in & out in less than 30 minutes same day! No hassles or hidden charges

Fantastic! My iPad screen was shattered. I really thought it was beyond repair. That is when I discovered ubreakifix. I cannot believe they were able to fix my iPad. Not only was turnaround quick, but the prices were reasonable. My favorite part was their customer service. Justin was terrific. He communicated with me throughout the process and calmed my fears. Justin made the experience so painless and easy. I highly recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I was running late this morning and in a rush accidentally dropped my phone and cracked the screen. I work in marketing and my phone is a necessity. I went to my service provider and they told me it would cost $ 150 to replace the screen and it would take them a day to do it and would mail it to me tomorrow which is ridiculous. Two stores down was uBreakiFix. I went in and they gave me a way better price. The sales rep/​technician Justin went above and beyond to help me out. He fixed my phone in 10−15minutes and helped me out with other questions I had about working my phone. These guys are professionals and give excellent customer services.

After accidentally putting my iPhone through the wash, I thought it was done for. On a whim, I took it into uBreakiFix — within 24 hours, it was as good as new. The microphone was also damaged from a previous incident (I was forced to use speakerphone always) — they noticed this, and said they could fix it that for only a few dollars.

Great guys and awesome service. It’s been 8 months since I accidentally Ray Riced my iPhone 5c and had a cracked screen. Today the right side of the screen decided to clock out and not responding to any gesture. Went into the shop– had a quick quote– very friendly staff did a pretty thorough check– an hour later picked up an brand new looking for a pretty reasonable price including a 3 months warranty.

Excellent work. Very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Took my iPad 2 with broken glass in at 10 am. They expertly fixed the corners, replaced glass and added screen protector by noon. VERY REASONABLE PRICE!!!

They fix anything with a power button. IPods, IPhone, IPads and computers. They will give you an estimate for free. I had my grandson’s IPod fixed — same day service.
Also free parking. Fast and great service.
