Worst Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. The lentil soup was good, but it took forever to get our entrees. When they finally did arrive, the falafel was so soaked with oil they were like oily sponge balls, and the hummus and baba ganoush so garlicky and runny that I could barely eat them. The chicken shawerma was ok. Nice to see the family all working together there and the food has a homemade rather than professional quality, but I would never go there again.

Venus restaurant offers some of the best middle eastern cuisine on the northside of Chicago. They have a terrific menu with great selections. They also do a great job catering and have very reasonable prices. For the vegan or vegetarian crowd, no worries, they have plenty items that’ll suit your needs as well. Try them out & Enjoy!
