I bought a groupon for a Brazilian here, and considering it was my first experience, I wasn’t disappointed. I walked in and the lady (I forget her name but she had brown hair. But that probably doesn’t help at all) was with another client. I had been contacted by them in the morning asking if I could bump my appointment back because someone was sick, and it showed. She was running around trying to check out one client, help the one before me, and apologize to me for running late. I didn’t mind, she was super sweet and gave me a glass of wine. I love free wine.
My appointment ended up being about 15 minutes behind schedule. When I was up, she shook my hand and introduced herself (which, surprisingly, not everyone does) which I was happy about. She took me into the room, had Justin beiber playing (#belieber) and had me get on the table. Spoiler alert-​Brazilians hurt like a biotch. She was quick, professional, and dealt with my squeaks of pain with a smile on her face. Plus she was super easy to talk to despite being all up in my business. While I’m not sure I’ll be coming back for the same treatment. I’ll definitely be here again.

Would highly recommend this business. I had a Brazilian wax and it was super easy and painless. The girls were very nice and welcoming when i first arrived. Super clean and friendly place. Will be going back over and over again. Also very easy to book appt.

I have been going to viktorias skin care for a wax for over 2 years. I followed her to her new location and have nothing but the best things to say. Kseniya is efficient, fast and sooooo nice! Always welcoming and patient. The salon is clean and comfortable. I literally have nothing bad to say about this place! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

First time customer, Golnara is amazing and so friendly. I usually try to wax my underarms at home but it’s so messy.
She is reassuring and gentle. No pain at all. I love the set-​up the facility is so clean and relaxing. Great atmosphere I mean 17 $ for underarm waxing, yep I’ll be back.
My 10 year old was with me and she waited in the waiting area, I liked that they had a Legos for her to keep entertained. Took no longer than a few minutes and I was out.

I been seeing Kseniya for almost 2.3years and wouldn’t go anywhere else! She is sweet, fun to talk too and amazing at her work!

I consistently have a great waxing experience here. Golnara is so friendly and efficient, and the result is great! She never double dips on the wax and does a very thorough job. She’s very respectful and I can’t recommend coming here highly enough.
Scheduling is easy, I’m seen promptly every single time, and the space is tastefully done and clean. If you’re looking for a place and person to get waxing done, this is it.

Not sure why this place has so many stars. I only came here once, it was with a groupon a while ago, I was charged Tax at the end of visit and had to come out of pocket, on top of that I sat and waited for over 45 minutes for my appointment time with Gulnara (I may have butchered the spelling of her name) she did not even apologize for being late and I was told the City of Chicago requires «tax» to be paid on services. Really? Because I’ve been to tons of other places in the city, that don’t charge tax. Needless to say, I have not gone back to this place and I would never recommend it to anyone. The prices are also crazy high. Almost $ 80 for soft strip wax? C’Mon seriously here. This place is a joke.

Dear Viktoria Business,
Please don’t forget the basic rule of any SUCCESSFUL business, the customer is always right! I get a facial/​microdermabrasion every month, for about 6 years now. The only reason why I even tried this new place is because my usual places were completely booked. Your prices and service are as ridiculous your Unilocal response. Don’t waste my time like you made me waste my money. Do not call me again unless your going to return my money.

I will not be returning as I feel completely taken advantage of.
I tried this place on a groupon. I had a great facial and booked a second appt. and full price.
My second appt is where they take advantage of you.
When I arrived I mentioned that I wanted an extraction for a bump on my cheek.
Throughout the facial I was wondering why there was no steam on my face to hydrate it. She then put a chemical peel on me, without informing me of the charge. When I asked if there was a charge, I was told its included. Great.
Next she said I need collagen, and she proceeded with the treatment. Once again, I asked about pricing…, told no up charge.
After she apples the collagen I am shocked to learn that the collagen treatment takes 30 minutes. That would have been nice to know up front as I had expected a 1 appt and made plans.
She stayed in the room with me for 30 min. You would think that in the 30 minutes, I would get a hand or foot massage. Nope.
I finally asked what time it was, and I was now 30 mins late for my next appt.
Here’s the shocker… I finish and they want to charge me $ 200… Are you kidding me!!! I booked the same facial as I originally had and was expecting $ 85 charge.
They took advantage and lacked communication through the process. Even after I asked for the extraction, I was disappointed that she did nothing.
This is not my first rodeo. I have had plenty of facials in my life, but never shocked at the price tag like I was today.
I will not be returning.

Had a great Brazilian wax with Gulnara here in July. I only wish I still lived in Chicago so I could get this good of a wax all the time.
One very small complaint; I booked my appointment on Lifebooker, but shortly after I received a call from them stating that the times on Lifebooker weren’t accurate and asking if I could come at a slightly later time. Fortunately this wasn’t an issue for me, and the quality of the wax more than made up for it!
I know their regular prices are a bit high, but they have a membership option that allows you to pay less and if I lived in Chicago I would absolutely be on board with that.

Came here for a facial after two friends had been. Loved it!
The ladies are friendly and my service was great! They didn’t push me to but product which was appreciated.
Going back for a chemical peel after more feedback from friends.
Overall great prices and service, plus you can book online. Love!

I live right across the street so was hoping this would be my go-​to place for facials… It will not be.
The first 30 minutes were fine– cleanse, exfoliate, extraction– but then it went downhill. A mask was put on and I was left alone in the room for 17 minutes (clock in the room) to «relax» while the esthetician chatted with a coworker in the lobby outside my door. Are you kidding me? A good facial usually includes an arm or neck massage during this time. Disappointing and unprofessional.

Love this place! I’ve gotten two facials here before through a lifebooker deal, and the results were wonderful; my skins was glowing for weeks, not a single breakout. (I even came here a few weeks before my wedding).
I also love the convenience of scheduling appointments online. It also texts you reminders, which is really great.
The salon is clean and inviting. All of the estheticians are very knowledgable and friendly. Will definitely be back!

I had tried a few places to do my Brazilian waxes here in Chicago but today the experience was awesome.
The salon is very well located, easy to find and to park. It was really nice and very clean.
Kseniya was very welcoming and sweet. And as for the Brazilian wax she was very professional, fast and it didn’t hurt at all. She made me feel really comfortable!
Great experience and I will defenitely repeat!

I got a little confused finding Viktoria Skin Care because I had read previous reviews that it was in Sorelle. That’s no longer the case as they’ve moved to their own store front location on Division back in September. The new location is between Leavitt & Hoyne and it’s great. Really convenient to get to.
No issues — service was fast and efficient which is what you want in a good esthetician. I bought a package of 3 so I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!

The good: They are very friendly and professional, what I like the most is that I’ve never been pressured into buying unnecessary products. Even when the advice isn’t what you want to hear they give your their honest opinions.
The Bad: For the price that they charge you may expect a fancy Italian restaurant but instead you recieve Olive Garden. There is only one person who speaks English fluently and communication with anyone else becomes a headache. My appointments being canceled and rescheduled has become expected so I always schedule 2 to 3 hours later then my desired appointment time.
With that being said I still recommend this place because after several weekly visits my skin is looking better than it has in 10 years.

I’ve only been here once for an emergency facial as my regular esthetician was not available. Pretty good service. The lady that did my facial was super sweet.
My skin looks and feels great.
I’ll be back and definitely recommend.

I have been here twice! Once for a wax and once for a PCA chemical peel. She makes you feel very comfortable! I’m in the burbs and drive to the city just to get my services done by her!

So I booked an apptmt via lifebooker… my go to for great spa deals.
It was $ 52 for a European facial… fairly cheap and I got to use my reward dollars.
The space is confusing. It’s inside Sorelle. There’s a random set of stairs off to your right when you walk in, but no sign. I had to ask the front desk of Sorelle.
The waiting area is meh. A random couch just kind of sitting there. It seemed haphazard. Also, there was no receptionist… which I kind of expected, but I just didnt know where to go or what to do.
I am a nazi with time. She was running about 10 mins behind. Boo! Plus, I was on a tight schedule.
The facial itself… well I have had a TON of facials and this was the most PAINFUL and unrelaxing as it gets. She used a tool on my face… which I don’t mind. However, I do tend to get blackheads and she was scraping my face off. The bad thing about tools is I dont think they know how much pressure they are putting on your face.
Literally I was wiggling around on the table like a little kid, tears streaming down my face… YOW!
Omg, the worst ever.
Like dug out my face… which I typically like, but it has never been this painful. Maybe steaming for longer would have helped open up the pores???
Also, she should have asked me because my face was red for two plus days. I had to wear makeup to cover up the redness.
The massage part of the facial was really minimal. After she dug at my face for like 15 mins, it was like wipe, clean, and put on a serum.
Overall, I don’t think I would go back because it was SO painful… but she really got out a lot… you decide.
I was in the mood for a relaxing spa experience and instead got tortured. HA! My blackheads are like almost nonexistent, but I am not sure it was worth the pain.
