WT Window & Door Service

I hardly ever leave Unilocal reviews, but I was so disappointed by this company that I want to warn EVERYONE to save their time, and go with another company. I was referred to WT through my condo association, as other homeowners with similar windows to mine had used them before. I have no idea how their experience went, but mine was horrific.
They have a very tight window for home estimates (8am-​3pm M-​F), make it as easy as pulling teeth to get a follow up quote (I had to call multiple times and email over the course of 2 weeks to get any kind of answer on my quote), and generally have no consideration for the customer whatsoever. After being the stood up for a follow up appointment (very inconvenient because I had to leave work midday to go home), I emailed Virginia, the main scheduling rep, saying how disappointed I was at the no-​show and the fact that the tech said he would email me that day to reschedule but never did. I was even willing to give them another chance if they could improve their communication – but guess what – no reply!
Avoid this company at all costs. Wish I would have looked them up on Unilocal before blindly going off a referral from the property manager in my building.

WT is priced right and as a Property Manager, I was hopeful that I would love this company. I manage a building with nearly 200 units and 1000’s of windows. They need service, screens and track balancers constantly. I tried WT on a recommendation but my experiences have all been horrific.
Getting an appointment to have someone come out is nearly as difficult as a hole-​in-​one. Once I was finally able to get a tech to the building, I had to beg over a two week period to get a proposal. In the most recent case, I approved the proposals for two units to be repaired on June 10. We are approaching August and after multiple emails, I still do not have an appointment for the repair.
If you are looking to hitch your wagon to a horse who cares nothing about communicating with the client, treats you as if they really don’t want to be bothered by your window needs, and makes you beg to find out any information or have a tech scheduled, then you’ve found the right company. They should be a case study for how NOT to do business. If I did business like this, I would be broke, homeless, and hungry.
Incidentally, they used an excuse that the balancers were on order and hadn’t arrived. But I called another company who stocks balancers for my windows but explained that had they run out and they needed to be ordered, it can take up to two weeks (NOT 2 months — and counting).
Save yourself the need to pop aspirin and hit the bottle. The only certainty here is disappointment!

8a-​3p business hours really says it all but that’s just the beginning; this company exemplifies appalling, indifferent service. They do not return Emails or phone calls and have a casual attitude toward their customers that borders on contempt. I never did get around to using them because after two months of trying to get a simple answer out of them as to how much it would cost they were unable to get themselves together enough to properly answer the question so I gave up. Free estimates is one thing but it’s truly miraculous they’ve been in business as long as they claim to have been. Don’t bother.

Let me start by saying I went with WT as the original window and door installer of the condo development where we bought in 2013. Do not make the same mistake. After placing the order for replacement windows last Fall I called to cancel the order in late February after hearing nothing from WT in 15 weeks. I called several times and was told they were checking and checking on the order with the manufacturer. It took just a few days to clear the $ 800+ deposit but takes 15 weeks to find out the status on a window order? Then another month to receive a refund check with $ 35 deducted from it because the original was lost in the USPS, not my fault. The original turned up at WT and they still deducted the stop payment fee which I advised they call to remove as I work in the banking industry. Very disappointed with this experience.
