History

Established in 1990.

I have been a specialist in periodontics for over 20 years. Until 2008, I treated most of my patients with flap surgery/​gum surgery. Now, I use the Periolase MVP 7 laser with the protocol known as” laser assisted new attachment procedure” LANAP.

I love this procedure because it uses my patients’ regenerative abilities without cutting and suturing. It’s less invasive without compromising results.

About 10 years ago my husband, an oral surgeon, and I invited a highly skilled general dentist to join us. We are able to offer a high level of care since your treatment is not limited to the skills of one dentist.

Business Owner

After graduating from Howard University with a B.A. in Zoology, Dr. Yetta G. McCullom earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Howard University College of Dentistry in 1985, then served as a general practice resident at the VA hospital in Washington D.C. for one year. She worked in private practice and as a clinical instructor in the Department of Periodontics at the Howard University for two years, then entered Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. She received a Master of Science with a Certificate in Periodontics from that institution in 1990. She practiced with her father Dr. Flavius Galiber for three years while doing general practice residency and teaching.

Dr. McCullom has taken many hours of continuing education credits at the prestigious Misch Implant Institute and the Dawson Center for Dental Education. She has focused on the medical and surgical management of periodontal disease.
