At Little Treasures, we believe that the process of learning is more important than the project created. Our goal is to make learning fun in a safe and nurturing environment. We have an open door policy and invite you to come in and visit.
We Match Other Center Rates! Our rates are competitive, however, if we do not have the lowest rate, we will match other center set rates. We want your choice to be on the quality of our center… not because we give the lowest rates!
Infant Room — We provide an intimate environment with few interruptions throughout the day. They are introduced to music/movement, sensory, Spanish, art, literature and language arts, and socialization at basic levels. Daily reports are kept to keep you informed of your child’s diaper times, meal times, naptimes, and activities. Our toys, floors, play equipment, and restroom are sanitized numerous times daily.
2 Year Room — Children are able to tumble and play, in addition to their normal curriculum. We also assist in potty training. Our toys, floors, play equipment, and restroom facilities are sanitized numerous times daily.
Preschool Room — Our program includes guidance about language arts, math, science, music, art, and more. We have a Pre-kindergarten readiness program that uses a zoo phonics program to learn letters, sounds, signs, and eventually reading. Nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are provided.
Bring your child to visit and learn while you look around!
History
Established in 2005.
Miss Michelle has worked at the preschool since it opened in 2002. She started as a substitute teacher and obtained a full time teaching position within 2 weeks.
During the next 2 years as a teacher, she gained experience working with each age group. In November of 2004, her employer mentioned selling the business. With a love and passion for working with children, Miss Michelle took an opportunity to make the preschool her own.
Miss Michelle is the owner and director. She has an open door policy and prefers to work directly with parents. As a mother and business owner, she feels that there is nothing more important than the children we are raising. They are our FUTURE!
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
As a child I moved around a lot. It was rare if I only attended one school during the year. At the age of 14, I found myself living in a foster home. This was the first time that I was able to attend 1 school for more than a couple of months. At an early age, I knew that I would never put my children through the same struggles that I grew up knowing.
I began working at the age of 15, and have had many experiences. I have worked as a clerk typist, hostess, data entry clerk, parts delivery driver, receptionist, and deli manager, before I found myself working at a preschool. I have had an employer tell me that my job needed to be my priority and to find someone else to watch my sick children. This is when I made the decision to go back to school.
While attending classes at Butte College, I enrolled in a class that you attended with your child in a preschool setting. This is when I realized my passion to work with children. Children are the Future!
