Miles Berdache: Skin & Body Studio

Miles is absolutely wonderful! He is at the top of his game. I heard from a friend of a friend that he gave the very best facials. I turned 30 this year, and had never had one, so I decided to treat myself because after somehow escaping adolescence and motherhood with no acne, I’m constantly battling breakouts these days and figured it couldn’t hurt. I really didn’t know what to expect, but I am happy to report that it was worth every penny. I was so impressed with Miles that I went on to book a massage, even though I’ve only ever had two massages in my life, and neither one did much for me. After receiving a massage from Miles, I can say that I have been missing out! I ended up booking a pedicure with him, too, which I just had done today. He is so much fun to talk with, but more than that, he really knows what he’s doing. My face and feet have never looked better, and the massage has made me excited to go back for another one. I even booked my husband a surprise massage for his birthday – and if he doesn’t want it, well, happy birthday to me! Thanks, Miles!

After having been on the road for over 3 months I am happy to say I am now in a position to repeat my previous experience with Miles at the Body Bar. I will be calling for an appointment within the week. I can only imagine it will be as wonderful as it was previously. Thank you Miles for being there!!!

I have to say that I have never had a less than wonderful experience at The Body Bar. I would not go anywhere else for my massages, facials, waxing, or nail care. I honestly have found the best of the business under one roof. I would recommend Nicole for your skin care needs, as well as waxing. I was terrified of the waxing process, but after a thorough and comforting conversation I gave it a try, now honestly I love it, and the upkeep is pretty simple. I also have learned so much about my skin and how to take care of it. Nicole knows what she is doing, and how to explain it in simple terms, and my skin has never looked better. I will even tell on myself, I was so relaxed that I fell asleep more than once during my treatment.
I see Jenni for massage regularly, and though I have visited countless other massage therapists in the past due to suffering a pretty nasty back injury, I now would not go anywhere else. She is well educated, understands the anatomy and physiology of it, as well as the kind of pain my injury has caused. She is professional, knowledgeable, but at the same time provides such a relaxing experience.
I was lucky to have had the «rock star toes» experience last summer. Tracy made me feel like a million bucks, not just with how great the service itself was, but she was a joy to work with. By far the most personable nail «artiste» I have experienced.
All in all, I can’t say enough good stuff about this place.

Soo… I got a «40 dollar preview» card for 4 trips to get a massage, facial, body something, and get my nails done. Umm… So Do not go there. when i got my facial, I told the lady that my face is SUPER sensitive, and not to use anything acidic. She said that’s fine. about 4 minutes later, I could feel my face burning off. When i told her it hurt, she said it’s fine and that it’s all in what she does. So when the facial was over, I was in excruciating pain, and wanted to stick my face in a bucket of ice. I looked at my face when she turned the lights on and my face was blotchy red all the way down my neck and chest. Her reaction was «oh my God im so sorry» Umm… That is not something professionals should say after they just gave you a facial. Then, she tried getting me to make another appointment with her, this time full priced. WHY WOULD I DO THAT? anways, even before I came in they switched me around 3 times. Do not go here. Very unprofessional.

I have gone to The Body Bar for Facials, Massages, Mani/Pedi’s. My two daughters have gone for the same plus eyebrow waxing. Miles the owner, makes us feel very special every time we come in. The others girls there always have a smile, I really enjoy chatting with all of them. This is a first class spa, very clean, excellent services and great people. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone.

I can’t speak for the spa, but Jenni was a great masseuse! My back was killing me when I went in. I hadn’t been feeling that much pain in years!
The massage was the perfect combination of deep tissue and relaxation. I’ve had some very effective massages that left me bruised and stressed out, but not so here. I felt great and I also felt relaxed!
I docked it one star since the location isn’t the greatest. But the service and the massage was the BEST!
PS. Oh and the receptionist was completely professional and kind. I was pretty confused by the following review…

The first time I arrived at The Body Bar I was a little taken back by the outside of the building. You can’t really tell there is a day spa in there, but once you get inside The Body Bar, it is wonderful! Very relaxing and the staff is very friendly.
I am picky about where I get massages done. I have a bad back and am constantly in pain. Kallie at The Body Bar is the only massage therapist I have ever had work on me that actually temporarily relives the pain! She does a fantastic job. If you’re looking for a great, relaxing massage ask for Kallie!

My daughter and i both received mani pedi’s from a gift certificate. They were able to accomodate my busy schedule and get us in quickly. The massage was fabulous and attention to detail was impressive.
My daughter rebooked and waxing service with Nicole, I never heard her make a peep. Needless to say we can hardly wait for our upcoming facials.

I haven’t even gotten a chance to go in this place! When I called to schedule my appt, with the voucher I got alot of attitude from the person at the desk which resulted in her yelling at me. I would not recommend this place unless you like being screamed at like an idiot.

I went in because I bought a promotion to try 30 minutes for different treatments they offer. The first one was a facial, which I upgraded to a full 1 hour session. I have always had problems with my face and don’t have the knowledge to correct it. Miles was amazing. Yes I have never had a facial before so I can’t compare. But I felt he had great knowledge and he was caring. The whole experience even down to the yummy tea was so relaxing and I must say I could get used to it. Miles set me up on a four appointment program to try and get my skin back on track, I will keep you posted. I would recommend this place to anyone due to the service and you can’t beat those rates.

I would give this business 5 stars if the massuese showed up at my appt or atleast apologized to me during my return. Miles is the best esthetician. He really seems sincere and takes great care of your face! The building is a little old but they decorated it pretty nice. I have recommended everyone to go visit Miles for all their facial woes. and its 25% off for all new clients. A $ 70 facial for about $ 50! Cant go wrong
