Specialties
The Peg Taylor Center provides daily health care, social support, physical and occupational therapy, therapeutic activities, and nutrition to both younger and older adults with serious health conditions such as stroke, diabetes, injury, or chronic illness. We work closely with individuals and their families to coordinate all aspects of care, allowing participants to work towards good health and well-being in a supportive environment, while providing respite and resources for family caregivers.
History
Established in 1986.
Inspired by pioneering public health nurse Peg Taylor and founded by volunteers, the Peg Taylor Center for Adult Day Health Care has helped both younger and older adults with disabling health conditions to stay independent and in better health for over 25 years.
