History

Established in 2015.

Rich, the owner of Scuba Hut, has been diving since 1996 and teaching PADI diving courses since 2005 and holds the rating of PADI Course Director. He has over 4700 dives and certified hundreds of divers at both recreational and professional levels.

Having recently relocated to California from the Caribbean, Rich and his wife Debbie formed Scuba Hut to cater for the local diving, snorkeling, and water sports community offering education, equipment, and experience.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Rich was born in the south west of England and first learnt to dive back in 1996 while taking a year off between school and university to travel around Australia. Once back in the UK and at university Rich continued his diving education in the cold, low viability waters of the south coast. In 2005 Rich completed his PADI Instructor Development Course and entered the world of professional scuba instruction. Rich has no achieved the rating of PADI Course Director which he achieved in the summer of 2011 in the Domincan Republic.

Rich has gained a wealth of diving experience and knowledge over the years and has over 4700 dives having dived in many locations around world including the UK, USA, Egypt, Spain, Crete, Barbados, Dominica, Domincan Republic, Zanzibar, Belize, Mexico, Australia, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Honduras.
