History

Established in 2014.

Steiner’s Speakeasy was name for the grandfather of the owner who passed away months before she purchased the business. It was a long time dream of theirs to open tavern together. Since its opening in June 2014, Steiner’s has strived to not only provide quality cocktails and beers, but to make everyone feel at home. There are no televisions or wifi. The owner says «We want you to come in and build friendships and memories, so we took away all of the modern day distractions».

I am a graduate of Ohio University and have 13 years of bartending experience. After college I left the bar world to seek out a «grown up job». An office just wasn’t for me. So I returned, working in restaurants, hotel lounges, and even cruise ships. I can honestly say I love this industry. The best compliment I have ever received was when a guest said they feel like when they come to Steiner’s Speakeasy they feel like they hanging out in a friends living room. I want every guest to feel that way.
