Specialties
Solstice Farm is a 33 acre farm with a mix of lambs, pig, chicken, market garden and orchard. The «farm house» was built with B and B in mind 6 years ago with a Tuscany feel to the interior atrium. We have only two master bedrooms each with a private bath. The guests are encouraged to participate in the farming activity;y according to their interests.
History
Established in 2008.
The farm has been in agriculture in some form for over 100 years. Linda and I changed the hay and cattle operation into a multipurpose farm after having sailed for fifteen years. The habitat has improved with the planting of over 3000 trees to help the conservation of the spawning salmon and the also the draining of some fields in this rich peat soil.
