History

Established in 2000.

Video & photo… it’s what I have done for over 20 yrs. I started out in 1990 with a partner and opened Griffin Productions which was a very successful video production compane. We added photography in 1996. By 2000 I had started my own company, Creative Images by Carla Photography. I continued full time until 2004 when I took a break to raise my children. Now that they are older, I re-​opened in 2012 and I haven’t looked back. Portraits & weddings have always been my main focus however, I am adding Couture Portraits geared to women… ALL women are beautiful. I know what beauty looks like and I can see it. I can capture it and show it back to you. You know who you are… you are a student, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and best friend. Do something just for you. Come experience a day of pampering with hair, makeup and photo session. Then go and have a girls night out or beautiful dinner with your loved ones, feeling like the beautiful woman you are.

Local girl raised here in Rowan County, NC. Grew up on a small farm with a few cattle and my beloved horses. My parents still have this farm and I still have horses and always will. I have owned my own business since 1990. My background is in video productions & photography. In addition, I was the video editor for a local TV program for 12yrs. Experience is something they can’t teach you in a text book or classroom. I am thankful for all the hard knocks and rewards. I have two beautiful children, Morgan & Landon. They are growing up so fast. Ones in college and the other in high school. I love the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart, mind and spirit. I thank him all that He has done for me… without Him I would be nothing.
