The reviews on this law firm are just wrong and very unfair. I hired Ms. Edwards-​Swift to assist me with a custody matter with my son. John Cannon was my attorney and the results were very good for me and my son! Divorce and custody issues with an attorney are very expensive but worth every dime!
I would recommend Pam and John to anyone who needed a Family Law attorney and my paralegal was also very good. She answered all my questions and was very helpful.

VERY EXPENSIVE… the bills kept coming and no results after paying around $ 10,000 to get divorced. They wanted another $ 3,000 but couldn’t say if that would do it. I left and went to another attorney. Pamela is a nice lady to talk to but expect to hear mostly from her «legal assistants» to rack up the chargers!

PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS. They tell the truth. Pam Swift and John Cannon are incompetent attorneys. We hired Pam for a family members divorce. No children involved and all assets already split 50⁄50. She charged us over $ 20,000, yes $ 20k! And yes she is still sending us bills. Here we are 2 years later and the divorce is not final. Don’t waste your time or money. FYI, my nana is 90 years old. Pam took nana’s money quickly without regret.

Legal matters are not pretty, but politeness, support, and an attorney on your «team» can make it more tolerable. The attorney I hired in this office LET ME DOWN repeatedly. Pamela, the owner, was very fair and listened and tried to make it better for me. I do appreciate that she stepped in and tried to rectify matters. It is an EXTREMELY expensive firm and be prepared to pay twice as much for an issue to be clarified than to just accept their original charges and not question them.

I hired Ms. Swift as my divorce attorney. Ms. Swift and her office have outstanding and prompt communication. Documents prepared correctly the first time so there are not revision costs.
All attorney fees are very expensive. My only recommendation is that families workout the division of property among themselves and then hire one attorney to take care of all the legal documents. In the end, both parties have to agree on a final judgment. It doesn’t take two attorney’s to make it happen.
Would I recommend this firm? Yes, definitely.

If you work hard for your money and don’t want it to be stolen from you, DO NOT HIRE Pam Edwards-​Swift. She will suck every last penny from you and still not be finished with your case. She doesn’t return phone calls or emails and then when you ask why she has not done anything on your case she has the audacity to tell you that you are not her only client. She stinks! Don’t let her misleading advertising fool you! She is the epitome of a blood sucking lawyer.
