Takes FOREVER … Unreasonably really considering every time I go, a nurse talks to me for ~3 min, then doctor comes asks some of the same questions…
The doctors are usually nice, but in a hurry.
Because I was pregnant, the doctor told me I cannot take medication for my issue– BUT he still prescribed 2 very strong drugs (which I didn’t pick up).
If you are worried about taking too many medications, try to ask about holistic treatments to avoid buying prescriptions and using drugs.

I have been to this facility 4 times on different occasions, two of which were way beyond disappointment. The reason I came back after the first horrible experience was because i like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, it just turns out that they are careless when it comes to other people’s health and time.
First thing is first, when you walk in, the receptionists are not exactly welcoming. I think their jobs aren’t the hardest in the world by far but they manage to ruin people’s days and schedules with their incompetent predictions. Like when i called in and they said it would be a half hour wait, and I arrived 15 minutes after my call, checked in and had to wait 105 minutes (1 hour and 45 minutes. You will also notice that they are slow to serve you and they seem to wipe the smile right off your face.
I consider myself to be a patient person but I do not like being taken advantage of or mistreated.
The doctors here seem to hop out for lunch at any time, they do not have specific schedules and will not inform the people waiting when they do so. Another problem is that there might not be another doctor available when that doctor decides he is leaving for lunch. So when they tell you you are third on the list it may take a couple of hours. It took them an hour to take me in when I was told I was next.
The Nurse practitioner is a really nice person and she explained everything from a health point of view. The doctors here however, do not seem to pay attention or even smile. I say this because one time the doctor did not prescribe all the medication needed to my fiancé, she went to another clinic and got that fixed. I am definitely not coming back here again. Mainly because of the bad reception and extended wait times. Even though some of the nurses are nice, the negligence and lack of care about the patient’s time ruins it for everyone.

The urgent care physician are awesome along with the nurses in the back. The front office clerks need training in regards to HIPPA laws and information they ask in the front.
Patient sign in sheet is left out for everyone to personal information such patient name, address, reason for appointment. The back office nurses should be the only ones that should the patient for the chief complaint not the front desk

Okkkk here it goes… so I Returned this past Sunday. The rude front desk witch xochilt was not in. Yay! So I had a good experience. Front staff was courteous and LVN was sweet to my son. The Dr was very nice and pleasant!!!

If there was such thing as no stars that would be the rating. Where to start… I arrived to PVMC Urgent Care around 2:30 pm upon arrival the representative at the counter (Xochitt) didn’t say anything to me not a hi or how can I help you NOTHING! I signed my name on the clip board and took a seat, people started getting called but nothing for me. Finally after 1 (one) hour my mom who came with me went to the desk and asked another representative when they would call me for my insurance information and to fill out paperwork, the new representative looked puzzled as to why I hadn’t already filled out the forms. Come to find out that after an hour and a half my insurance was not taken there and I had to go to another urgent care. Had Xochitt done her job and asked for my information when I arrived like the other representative did who took over I could have saved my time there as well as time from writing this review. I really hope Emily the Center Supervisor does something about her considering many of their Unilocal reviews have a complaint about Xochitt in them.

I’d rather die on The sidewalk than to go back to this place. Horrible customer service. They pretty much turned my daughter away because there was a two hour wait and they closed in one hour. The VA offers better customer service than this place. Beware.

I was discharged from the hospital after 10 days. I have a picc line and got here 3 minutes after closing and was turned away. I had an emergency and needed help. This isn’t my first bad experience with this place. Stay away.

I scoured the reviews of urgent care places, very disappointed and afraid to try one. I figured Pomona Valley Hospital has a good reputation so went here and I’m glad I did. When I walked in, I felt the room was too warm and there were sick people everywhere, coughing and looking horrible. But it’s flu season, so what do I expect? That’s why I was there too. I used my own pen to sign in and fill out my paperwork. I felt like I was in a germ sauna! They do have a hand sanitation area with tissues and facemasks but it’s in a back corner and I had to look around for it. The people were very pleasant and when I went up to ask how much longer, they were very friendly and apologetic. I asked if I could wait outside on the patio area and she said yes. I knew they were working as hard as they could. I waited one and a half hours and finally got in. The nurse was very kind and efficient and the doctor came in quickly afterwards. He was middle Eastern man, who didn’t smile easily but diagnosed me quickly with bronchitis and answered my questions when I asked. They efficiently ordered my prescriptions at my chosen pharmacy and gave me paperwork needed for work. The male nurse who brought me my prescription information, was very funny. I asked him how he stays well with all the sick people around and he said he was made of iron. We laughed and he kindly put his hand on my shoulder and told me I would feel better soon and to get some rest. Overall, it was a good experience and I’m glad I gave this place a try.

Crazy how I was here last year and the only thing I remember is the rude receptionists

Love this urgent care. Longest I have waited was maybe 45 min. Quiet, clean and never crowded! Staff is friendly and very attentive to all your medical needs! If you can see Dr. Huyhn, she is amazing!!! I wish I could see her as my primary! Listens to you, takes your side, and really sympathizes with the patient!

As a nurse, I’m very picky where I go to for treatment. I will drive miles away if I need to, just to make sure I get the best care. I’ve used this Urgent Care for the past few years and I can honestly say they are great! The wait isn’t too bad at all and the staff is amazing. My first visit there was due to a misdiagnosis at the ER! I was treated here quickly and within a few days I was feeling so much better. The next few times were for minor things but their services were still top notch! Rx was emailed over to my Pharmacy (Which helps so much with lengthy wait times that Pharmacies are infamous for) with in a few minutes. I’m very happy with this Urgent Care and will continue to use them as needed. Thank you for your great service!

Open daily including (although not listed) Saturday and Sunday 9 – 5. Yay! Easy parking especially when u are sick u don’t wanna think. Wait area spacious bright n plenty. Good if u are next to a coughing person you can move. Kids area nice. Large tv but no volume. It’s clean n neat. Clutter makes a worried and sick person more stressed so this place is a gem.
Receptionist very nice n friendly. First time visitors get your insurance n driver license ready as well as cash or credit card. Wait time seems long but it is expected being it’s urgent care n there’s just not enough staff for random walk ins. So don’t be upset on that.
I notice they will ask your symptoms on arrival n if u fill out something like «short of breath» u will be seen immediately. But please don’t make a bad cause as one day you really will be out of breath n no one will see you.

Brought my son in to the Urgent Care on a Saturday morning. It was about an hour wait but the staff were amazing. My son loved the nurse and the doctor and overall it was a great experience.
