Suneet Gupta, OD

I was not able to see Dr. Gupta but his associate Dr. Tina performed my routine eye exam on Wednesday this week. I normally dread eye appointments because I get overwhelmed with «is this better or is that better?» type questions, and Dr. Tina did not not make me feel overwhelmed at all. In fact, she made the whole experience comfortable, I did not feel like she was rushing me, she had really great advice and we had a really nice conversation. She is an amazing Optometrist! As a podiatry student at WesternU we still have eye exams incorporated into the clinical skills portion of our medical school program. When I asked, Dr. Tina gave me great and useful tips on how to use an ophthalmoscope and how to perform a proper eye screen, which will definitely come in handy during my upcoming rotations!!! Oh yea and I got some pretty cool glasses with my new prescription too! Thanks so much everyone at Chino Hills Eyecare Optometry!

Dr. Gupta is such a sweet caring eye doctor and his staff is so nice and efficient! I feel so lucky to have found such a great optometrist so close to home.

Dr. Suneet practice is most professional and patient oriented. My family have been going to him for years and everyone is friendly and polite. Furthermore you are treated with the utmost care and concern for your vision needs. His facility and equipment is top notch.

Dr. Gupta is a terrific eye doctor. He has walked through some serious eye issues with me. Guiding and advising and making sure all was well. he is an excellent clinician, professional, kind, caring. Our whole family loves him. His staff is fantastic. They are helpful and kind. Always seeking to provide the best care.

Dr. Gupta always gives a warm welcome. Always informative and explains things well. The staff here are also friendly and helpful. Can’t imagine anyone having a bad experience here.

I had a great experience with Dr. Gupta. I had a piece of metal in my eye and Dr. Gupta met me at his office at 11 PM on a Friday night. He is very friendly and easy to get along with and educated me on what the procedure was going to consist of and then performed it remarkably. I would highly recommend Dr. Gupta to anyone!

I found this place on Unilocal.It was great, service was fast, co-​pay was low, and Doctor Gupta is really cool and knows his stuff.

I moved 2 years ago and now live about 40 miles away from Dr. Gupta’s office. However, I will keep coming back faithfully to get my eyes examined, because Dr. Gupta is fantastic. I really appreciate his taking the time to provide a very thorough but easy to understand explanation of what eye health issues to be aware of, and generally how my eyes are doing. I also really like his automated scheduling and appointment reminder system, which is so helpful and easy to use.
The one small critique I have is that of the wait times. I have on average experienced wait times of more than 15 minutes, but that may be largely due to me only coming in on weekends when the office is likely the busiest. I waited more than a half-​hour on my last visit, but received a «thank you» letter in the mail a week later along with a $ 10 Starbucks gift card, thanking me for being patient about the wait, which I appreciate because it shows me that the care about their patients’ time.
Given how awesome Dr. Gupta and his staff are, I am hoping they will come up with some effective solutions for decreasing the wait time. That said, I will continue to be a loyal patient so long as I continue receiving the excellent quality of care to which I have become accustomed.

Dr. Gupta is an amazing Dr. However, I find the front desk office staff comes across cold and unfriendly. front office staff needs some serious customer service training…

Explained everything in detail for better clarity and understanding. I’ve already told my family, who will also be coming to see Dr. Gupta. Very friendly and professional.

I went to Dr Gupta because of the Unilocal reviews (and the fact that he is in my healthcare network). I was not disappointed. He takes his time with his patients. My daughter and I both went to him for one visit. He was kind and attentive. Very personable. We did not wait very long to see him. His staff is very friendly. They’re great about emailing you with appointment info and other relevant info. I’m very happy with them thus far. They have very reasonable options for glasses/​lenses and the processing time is less than a week. I don’t have anything negative to say. The negative reviews are disappointing. I’m wondering if Dr Gupta or staff had an opportunity to correct issues before people posted negative reviews. I would hope that they are able to view the posts and submit a response.

Simply cool, i checked the reviews for my first Unilocal experience and being new to the area, Unilocal helped! Thanks to all the past reviewers for being dead on!!, the staff was solid, and Dr. Gupta, awesome. Spent the time to make sure all my questions were answered and most of all was able to take me without an appointment because I had a crazy eye infection that urgent care couldnt handle. I appreciated the staffs patience with me while I was in pain, and the doctors ability to work me in during a busy day. Thanks guys!

My immediate fams optometrist for 10 years. I also run in there for any eye problem for over ten years. Dr. Gupta has had the same staff for over ten years, so when you walk in everybody knows your name. I recently took my mother in for an initial cataract review. He said he volunteers with geriatric patients, He is very sweet and kind to all ages. He is a wonderful doctor and person. Sometimes you will wait, but that is because he explains everything in detail, and you never, ever, feel that he is rushed to get you out so he can see the next patient.

Best Eyecare place in town. Staff is super friendly and Dr. Gupta was very knowledgable and empathetic. He was very kind and great with my 3 year old son. They have a great selection of glasses (I’ve been wearing them for over 35 yrs.) No up sale or pressure. Just friendly service and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend. If Unilocal would do 6 or 7 Stars, this place deserves it.

Pros: Friendly staff and doctor. I didn’t make an appointment, but they were able to accommodate my schedule and squeeze me in (I don’t live near their office). The doctor uses emails to send your prescription and photos (if any) are taken of your eyes. Furthermore, the doctor and the staff take their time, which means you have time to ask questions, which is a big plus for hypochondriacs.
Cons: It’s a bit far from where I am located.

Came here because of the Unilocal reviews. Dr. Gupta seemed competent enough. He winked at mefew times during my eye exam which was kind of weird. Not a «hey-​baby» kind of wink, but a «ha-​ha» «nudge-​nudge», kind of wink. Kind of annoying. The selection of eye wear was decent, but I couldn’t find anything that interested me. The prices were not cheap either. Taking an additional star off because he charged my insurance for eye exfoliation or something. Basically, he applied pressure to my eyelids to unclog my tear ducts. Maybe it’s legit, and maybe I shouldn’t care what’s charged to my insurance, but that’s just the way I am.

I can see!
Dr. Gupta does not rush through your appointment. He really takes the time to explain how your eyes are changing and all of your options.
You know how sometimes you visit doctors and you feel rushed and as though you have to hurry through getting all of your symptoms or concerns out there? Not here.
The staff are always welcoming. He will keep seeing you until you are satisfied with your contacts/​glasses and other vision needs.
Even if I move back out to the West side… I’d consider making the drive here for my annuals. It’s that great!

Who would’ve thought going to Unilocal to find an optometrist would work out?
While searching for a new optometrist, I read different Unilocal reviews and while there were other doctors closer to my area with decent reviews, Dr. Gupta is the only place with 5 stars from every reviewer. Normally I’m skeptical of these 5 star loaded reviews but occasionally they’re true to their word.
Dr. Gupta and his staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. I received a thorough education about my eyes and all my questions were answered. Dr. Gupta really paid attention to my concerns and focused on ensuring my eyesight is perfect. I also went in without insurance and got a decent price for both glasses and contacts.
Also, cute and helpful staff = big plus. I’m such a sucker for sweet and caring personal treatment. Oh, self serve coffee machine is also a plus. Unfortunately no self serve cookie-​machine but I’m not going to fault them for that. Albertson’s next door taunts me with their 99 cent cookies anyway.
It’s kind of a shame that I only have to go in once a year for a checkup, but I’m glad Dr. Gupta will be there from now on to take care of me.

I’ve been wearing glasses for 9 years and out of ALL the Eye Doctors that I’ve been to, Dr. Suneet Gupta is by far THE BEST!!!
He is very professional and friendly. He walks in the room, introduces himself and tells you about his facility and much more! He makes you feel so comfortable that we even started talking about iphone apps– haha!
Anyway, he explains to you everything with great detail. He tells you things that you wouldn’t even think of as far as your eye health goes.
He seems very honest and very knowledgeable. He is also very easy to reach, he tells you to check the website that his email and phone number are there to get in touch with him.
He examined me, explained to me in easy to understand terms.
Also, he said that if I didn’t find any glasses I liked he could order them for me. I said that I was very picky and what if I didn’t like the ones they ordered, he told that that shouldn’t be a problem. I didn’t have to get them if I didn’t want them.
I emailed him the next morning cus I had a dream about him, Just kidding, no but really, I emailed him to send him a link of some glasses I found online to see if he could get them for me and he replied to me within the hour!
He is the best!!!
On that note: I JUST FOUND MY DENTIST FOR LIFE AS WELL. IF YOU ARE PARANOID LIKE ME ABOUT TEETH AND EYES… CHECK MY OTHER REVIEW FOR MY DENTIST! HE IS THE BEST!
