Darafeev has produced some of the world’s finest seating, since 1959. Combination tables are our specialty, combining your favorite games, like Poker, Texas Hold’em, or Bridge, with Dining Tops, Bumper Pool, and Chess inlays.

For that game room or Man Cave, we have specialty seating, spectator height stools, our ever popular Mann Chairs and now the Cigar Chairs. Bars and Pub Tables round out the games room.

We sell quality Billiard and Shuffleboard tables, including Olhausen, Champion, Connelly, Brunswick, Porter and Sons, Fusion, and more. Jukeboxes and restored soda and slot machines can really add fun and excitement to the gameroom.

History

Established in 1959.

Mikhail Darafeev began crafting fine chairs in 1959, in his garage in East Los Angeles, California. Five decades later, Darafeev still produces some of the fines chairs in the world. Customers routinely contact us to purchase new upholstery for their 20 to 30 year old chairs and stools.

Darafeev operates two production facilities in Southern California, and is proud to say that we still build our furniture in the USA, and have refused to outsource any of our production.

There are few business that can claim to have four of the original family members still involved, over 5 decades later, in the day to day operation. That’s over 200 years of history.

It was 1959, and being only 4 years old, I still remember the saws and the dust, in our East LA garage. My father grew the business meteorically, and by 1969 built our Baldwin Park factory. Mikhail passed away in 1973, leaving 4 teenage children and his widow. I started full time one month later after graduating from high school.

Within a few years, Darafeev established a line of proprietary furniture, starting with a single bar stool, and landed four occasional groupings with a 65 store chain. This led to creating game tables and chairs, and expanding nationwide.

Today, Darafeev is committed to crafting quality products which are ‘built to last’.
