Our training staff has over 30 years experience in home building science and construction. All of our inspectors are trained and equipped with specialized equipment such as moisture meters, combustible gas detector, (Bore scope) sewer camera snake to name a few. Business Owner

Tony S. learned much about federal building and construction standards while conducting humanitarian service missions on his two tours in Iraq. After getting out of the military Tony S. found a natural transition into the civilian workforce with the home inspection industry. After working in the home inspection industry for several years Tony S. started ECS Home Inspections. Tony S. has grown ECS Home Inspections into one of the highest ranked home inspection firms in California.

5 stars all the way! I was referred to this business by a friend of mine who has also had her home inspected. Scheduling the appointment was an easy and pleasant process and the price was to our liking! The day of the inspection our inspector showed up right on time, was very professional and very kind. He went through the house very thoroughly along with taking his time. We were very pleased with his presence and the job he did and did a great job on explaining everything he had found. I usually need things said to me in a million different ways but our inspector spoke my french so it was an easy process and easy to unserstand. Ill forever be recommending ESC to others in need of inspections. Thanks again guys! You have a forever client :)

ECS was not my first choice, this is the third house I purchased and my previous inspector was busy. After searching online this company was available and cheap, please spend a couple more dollars and get a more thorough inspection company. After the inspection I had a a/​c repair company look at my house and they found asbestos exposed clearly in the attic, after calling ECS they said it was in the fine print that they do not look for asbestos! That same a/​c repair person clearly showed me some dry rot on the side of my house. What??? Why did I just pay an inspector to look at my house? This is a really unprofessional company, hopefully I don’t find many more surprises. Do yourself a favor and please pay an extra $ 50 — $ 100 to know what is really happening in your new home! AVOID ECS HOME INSPECTIONS.

Buyer Beware:
We paid to have a home inspector come and inspect our property. On every single thing the guy inspected, he writes, «contact so and so for further investigation». Ok, so we paid you $ 600 to come out here to inspect our property for what??? To call someone else who actually knows what they are doing. We bought our house 4 months ago and our roof is leaking and we had another inspector from another company come out to tell us this has been an ongoing issue. Due to your lack of knowledge and covering your ass by writing «please refer to someone else for further inspection», we are out thousands of dollars. Thanks for your crappy service and I hope you will reconsider finding another company when needing and inspection because this company will cost you more in the end.

7÷3÷14, Update: I originally had a bad experience with an inspector at ECS, but after finding out about my dissatisfaction with my ECS home inspection experience, the owners of ECS contacted me and offered me a partial refund for my troubles. They explained that the inspector has been retrained. I am now satisfied with my experience and would recommend them. After speaking with the owners, it is clear that this company really cares about their customers.

I used ECS home inspections for my second home purchase. My first purchase was in Phoenix and I bought my second home in Chino Hills. Thanks to ECS I have my perfect summer home.
The inspector was on time and addressed all of my questions and concerns. My report included photos of all of the areas of concerns the inspector found during his thorough inspection.
I felt confident after receiving my report thanks to the amazing people at ECS home inspections. I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends and family purchasing new homes. I will also use them again for all of my future property purchases.

ECS did a horrible, horrible job performing a proper inspection of our home prior to close of escrow. The company failed to note major issues with the home such as major water damage throughout the home, presence of mold, poor home construction that appeared to not be up to code (our patio floor drained water towards our home), presence of mold, severity of termite damage, pipe damage throughout the home, air conditioning/​ducts that needed to be replaced, storm drains placed too close to the home and in wrong direction draining towards the home, structural problems and the list goes on and on.
We had a second inspection of the home that came up with pages and pages of problems that ECS never even mentioned. ECS performed a poor quality of work which resulted in us purchasing a home that needs major repairs that we cannot afford. We would have never bought the home if ECS even came up with half the list our second home inspection did.
DO NOT WORK WITH ECS!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! DO NOT EVEN TAKE THE CHANCE OF ENDING UP WHERE WE ARE!

My husband and I were very pleased with our inspector and the time he spent with us and how thorough our inspection was. After he went through the entire house with a «fine tooth comb» he sat down with us and made sure we understood everything he came across.

I see five reviews for this company, all of which gave it five stars. As of right now, none of those reviewers have ever reviewed any other company.
I called and set up an appointment anyway, because they had lots of certification logos on their website, and they were offering a Unilocal promotion of $ 450 for $ 300. They told me that it couldn’t be used for my inspection because «This promotion is for a mold inspection…»
I cancelled my appointment as a result, and they immediately offered to honor the $ 300 promotion if I would keep my appointment. I don’t want to have a home inspector into my house after haggling, so I declined.
It’s entirely possible that they have the best inspectors on the planet. I didn’t want to continue with them, so I’ll probably never know. If you hire them, best of luck to you, and please let us know how it works out for you.

Our inspector Luis was amazing. Really thorough and examined every inch of the house. Afterwards, he took the time to show us dozens of pictures and answer all of our questions. He also found a number of problems that we never would have discovered on our own. Couldn’t recommend him more.
