Century 21 Home Realtors is the largest real estate office in the Inland Empire of Southern California, home prices range from the low $ 100’s to over $ 1 million. Due to a huge new home building boom the area has been hit hard by the recession but is starting to rebound in the 2010’s. Due to raw dirt being available and cheap in the early 2000’s, large commercial and industrial development occurred attracting a large white and blue collar population into the area. Century 21 Home Realtors has a large agent population of seasoned agents to assist the home buyer and seller in the market place both for home resale and commercial/​industrial properties.

Business Owner

Derek Wood started his career in Real Estate in 1978 with the venerable company (no longer in existence) Herbert Hawkins in Pasadena Commercial Division specializing in local and out of State apartment units. He joined the Century 21 Emery, Whittier office in 1980 as the branch manager, building a very successful and profitable office. He left that office in 1986 to join a partner in opening Century 21 English-​Wood as the Managing Broker, again, a very successful company ultimately with 4 offices. The partners sold off the offices in 1993 and Derek moved on back to the Emery organization as the President of an 8 office escrow company, later specializing in relocation and property management and eventually becoming again the manager of the Whittier real estate office. He left in 2001 and joined Century 21 King in Chino to become the manager of that branch office taking it over as the Broker/​Owner until the present time.
