I pass by this place everyday and decided to stop in and try it. The sign is a bit hard to see from the street and only say Chinese food from far away. There is about 10 to 12 different dishes to choose from. We got combo b which is fried rice or fried noodle with 2 side dish. They owners are super friendly They give generous portion Very affordable price.(less than $ 10 per person on average) We also got thai tea for $ 1. I just moved to the area and definitely will be a regular dinner spot for us.

It’s just okay but I am also really picky about Chinese food. I had high hopes due to the reviews and a recommendation from someone, but I wasn’t impressed. Here is why… *The food looked like it had been sitting out for a while and it wasn’t very hot. *Pepper chicken was bland. *Kung Pao was not spicy at all and not enough veggies and chicken was cut too small. *I added the mixed veggies and they weren’t bad. *Orange chicken was okay. *Fried rice was dry and bland. *Chow Mien was just okay bland(I’ve had better). Yes, the ToGo container was overflowing as reviews say but it was mostly chow mien & rice. So, it wasn’t the worst but it’s not good enough to go back for either. I am really let down by all the four star reviewers.

We had to find some noodles for our party of about 30 people and Lucky Star pulled through. It was about $ 30 for a full tray of chow mein. And the one thing that made it good was the flavor. That chow mein tasted good when we first bought it till the morning when it was cold. Good stuff. Thanks Lucky Star!

Really wasn’t expecting too much from Lucky Star, but they exceeded my expectations. The food didn’t look particularly appetizing but it tasted pretty good. The Orange Chicken had a taste of citrus to it but it wasn’t the best. A bit softer than Panda Express, really. The Black Pepper Chicken was my favorite. A bit saltier but I loved that they gave you the appropriate amount of veggies in there with the meat. The String Bean Chicken was actually pretty good and you can taste some remnant of wok heat. Fried Rice was a miss but the noodles were good and everything wasn’t completely oily. I didn’t feel like I was going into food coma or completely greasy afterwards. The Thai Iced Tea was also good and wasn’t too sweet. My boyfriend watched them make it and they don’t put as much of the creamer in there, so it’s more tea. Overall at $ 6 for a 2 item lunchbox, with plenty of food that they pack on, it’s a phenomenal deal!

Fantastic food! The best fried rice and chow mein I’ve had at a take out spot. Large portions for a low price. A+

This place has a lot of things going for it. 1. It’s super close to my house, so when I’m in the mood for cheap Chinese food … BAM! I’m back home eating in under 15 minutes. 2. Like McDonald’s, I know exactly what’s going to be in the container when I order it. 3. It’s always the same thing every time I go. 4. They’re pretty quick on the service end, even when the place is packed. 5. They give you a lot of food. Like, a LOT of food. Like, sometimes the top part of the Styrofoam carton doesn’t fit right and keeps popping open because it’s so full. Now for the not so amazing stuff. 1. They have the same exact things every single time I go in. Now, I’m a creature of habit, but I like a LITTLE variance every once in a while. Same orange chicken, same BBQ pork, same hot wings … I mean, they’re good, but I’d kill for a new item on the menu. 2. Another reviewer said the place was dirty. It’s not dirty, it’s just … well … old. I’ve been going there for 7 years now, and it’s still the same décor. Some recovered chairs and some fresh paint would do wonders for the place. Really, those are the only two things I can find fault with. Other than that, you get good, cheap Chinese food that will fill you up. So much so that you could most likely skip dinner. You really should go try it out. My personal favorite is the orange chicken, hot wings and BBQ pork.

Standard Chinese food 5 stars for parking 4 stars for speed of service 1 star for Cleanliness 2 stars for food freshness I really thought this place was substandard, even though it has high reviews. We haven’t been back, but it was busy while we were there.

Fresh food! And if not, you can ask for fresh food. They are happy to assist your needs. The rice on the other hand isn’t so good. But everything else is great. The rice just doesn’t have any flavor. But other friends of mine likes the rice. Just seems dry and no flavor. But I love the people who work here and will do anything for their customers. I just can’t be the one who tells them, they’re rice stinks.

Awesome Chinese spot. They use these little to go containers and keep filling them until they are basically overflowing. CHEAP compared to other places offering the same thing. Also, the staff is great and are all smiles. I rarely leave reviews, but every time I leave this place, I feel like I have to give one. Honestly, the food isn’t amazing, it’s more of the service that keeps me coming back. That being said: The food is a bit greasy but filling and good. The Thai tea is pretty good as well. I wasn’t a fan of the BBQ chicken. Pepper chicken and Mongolian beef are pretty decent. That’s all I’ve tried so far. They have orange chicken but I don’t know if it has the same crunch that Panda Express ‘s has, but I’d choose this over Panda any day. Overall, you won’t be disappointed!

I don’t know how many times I can say«awesome» about this place. Keep in mind I lived in SGV for about half my life so I know good Chinese food. This isn’t, by any means, a fancy, schmancy, Chinese, gourmet restaurant. This is a place to get good Chinese food fast. This isn’t where you go if you want a sit down meal. There are some tables and chairs but this is more of a take out joint. I hate to make the comparison because this place is so much better… but it’s like Panda Express in the way it’s designed. Combo A = fried rice or chow mein + 1 choice Combo B = fried rice or chow mein + 2 choices Combo C = fried rice or chow mein + 3 choices I got two Combo C’s and it came out to $ 15.01. One combo was fried rice with black pepper chicken, beef and broccoli and kung pao chicken. The other combo was chow mein with orange chicken, green beans and chicken and teriyaki chicken. First, a note about the amount of food you get. Omg. They. Hook. It. UP!!! The take out containers were seriously about to bust at the seams. The lady taking my order was super friendly and very nice. Everything I got was tasty but some definitely stood out from the rest. I really loved the chow mein, the black pepper chicken, orange chicken, beef broccoli, green beans and chicken. Even though this is supposed be enough for 2 meals, I think this is seriously enough good food to last my husband and I for four meals.

I got the 1 entrée bowl, which was as I suspected, hooked up with quite a lot of grub. You know the drill at these types of places. 1, 2, or 3 entrée plates with fried rice or chow mein. Like I said I got the 1 item Mongolian beef bowl which was given large portions of not only my 50⁄50 rice chow mein combo but also pretty generous with the entrée. Only complaint would be the onions were not grilled enough so they ended up too crunchy which kind of threw off the texture of the dish, but hey, those are first world problems, just like my mom used to say, there are kids starving in China who would love to eat that.

I usually get the orange chicken and teriyaki with fried rice and chow mein. The noodles and teriyaki chicken are ok but the fried rice and orange chicken are very good here. They taste fresh when I get them. $ 5 min to use card which is easy since the combos start at $ 5.50. The people there are nice and the place is clean. Plus, they have a thai tea special right now; you buy combo B or C and you can get a thai tea for $ 0.99.

Good Chinese food with great portions! What else can you ask for?! When the noodles are hanging out of your box because they packed so much in there then that’s an automatic 2 stars for me.

Honestly in a place like Chino, the food here is a nice change of pass from all the cheap tacos you get can everywhere else. Of course this ain’t super authentic Chinese food, but at least they give you a lot of food for your money and that’s always a plus in my book. The food here is pretty up to par for fast food and if you’re in the local area, I hope that it becomes one of your«I’m too lazy to make food but I still want a lot of food» places to go to.
