I used to come to her regularly, pretty much once a month for my eczema, for a few years. In the beginning, maybe 5 years ago, things were good, (short wait times, more attention, very polite).
But I stopped going to her about 2 years ago because things had gotten out of hand there. I would make an appointment, and then wait for 2 hours to be seen. I’m a college student, I can’t afford to be missing class or taking away time from studying (yes I take it seriously). It was always loud in the waiting room, and packed. If I am waiting for two hours, I should just come check in, leave and they can call my cell phone when its my turn. Absolutely unprofessional! Dr. Brotman has no «bedside» manners, not that I need to have my hand held, but the fact that she was just extremely rude and inconsiderate during my last visit, I made sure to tell her that exactly. And she just looked at me, no apologies or anything.
My sister went to her for a while too. This lady love to cut off anything she can, and has no regard towards the physical appearance of her patients after she cuts their moles/​etc. off. HELLO? Maybe that was the original reason the patient went there, was to have something unsightly be removed (like acne). But she doesn’t care if it leaves a scar, and most of the time, it does. She left about 3 scars on my sister, which are pretty visible to the public unless my sister wears a turtle neck sweater; it’s about 110 degrees here, so I don’t think that’s going to happen. My sister has had those scars for YEARS now.
I will NEVER give her business again. Also, for being a skin doctor, her skin doesn’t look healthy either, just something I noticed.
Find someone else to see for your skin problems. AVOID.

I was seeing Patricia Brotman for about a year here at Chino Valley Dermatology. Every time I went I would wait 40min plus! and when I got to she her it would be less then 10min and should barely talked or asked me questions about me condition, she would just prescribe me a new steroid cream through the nurse with her and send me on my way! I HAD TO ASK for tests to be conducted it was so dumb going to her for so long I wasted soooo much with her! worthless! Looking back it was so obvious that she just wanted to get out of that room so fast – she was not interested in helping me, BUT SHE WAS INTERESTED in me purchasing her skin mineral oil that was only offered at her office. But I thought «she’s the doctor, she will help me» All this time my condition has been getting worse and worse, the last day I saw her she TOLD ME that SHE «HAD NO IDEA WHAT I HAD» and that I would have to just live like this FOR THE «REST OF MY LIFE» but as a plus she has some cream that could fix up my acne… ps I don’t have acne definitely not reacquiring acne, WHICH SHE SHOULD KNOW sense Ive been going to her for over a year but then again she still didn’t even know my name… :/​I decided to seek medical help else were and i was lucky to find a REAL DERMATOLOGIST who is ACTUALLY CERTIFIED. I had know idea to look for that but that was the first thing out of his mouth when i saw him he wanted me to know that I could trust him and my skin is so much better! I have Psoriasis and its a genetic condition that i will always have, but turns out its very manageable I look normal now! but when I was with PATRICIA BROTMAN it took over my whole body and turned into severe psoriasis… thanks doc… if you feel you have a real condition DO NOT GO TO HER! go to someone who is actually certified
