Payless Shoe Source

Good selection of shoes and boots. Cute shoes but the quality is not there. I bought a pair of suede flats and after wearing them for 2 weeks, they stretched out of shape. :-(

I was there for 20 minutes, could not get anybody to help me so I left. Poor service.

had some of the worst customer experience here!!! i really do love this store because they have great deals and such… but one of the workers and the manager are just horrible. its too bad she isn’t replaced, she is probably gonna ruin some potential sales. if i can i try to do my payless business at other store, unfortunately there are not too many near by (because they went out of business). to be fair there is one nice and personable employee. so the story goes… i bought 4 pairs of shoes online and went to the store to pick them up. when i got my box i noticed that there was no packing slip or receipt of any kind, but since this was my first online purchase with payless i didn’t say anything thinking maybe they don’t give them. a few days later i went to return a pair of shoes that i decided i didn’t need. when i went in the rude employee asked for a receipt, when i told her that i didn’t get one and that she was the girl who handed me the box she reluctantly gave me a refund. i understand you need a receipt but as i kept telling her i could pull up the confirmation on my iphone which she kept refusing saying it made no difference and that wasn’t what she needed. later that week i opened the rest of the boxes and realized that another pair of shoes looked scuffed and sole was coming off. no way was i keeping this shoe it wasn’t even comfortable. when i go in (during my lunch break) i see the same rude employee and all i can think about it is greatttttt i get to deal with her again, however i did see the manager and had some hope. again when i go to return the shoes she asks for a receipt and again i tell her the story and offer to show her my confirmation and electronic receipt from my phone and again she tells me that is not what she needs and that she cant use them. she calls the manager and both of them talk a bit, not listening to what i am saying to them and basically tell me that they cant do anything for me in terms of a refund unless i show them the receipt. all i can think about is WHAT THE HECK, you both never ever gave me a receipt when i picked up the order which i later found out was against payless policy (they are supposed to print one out when you have an online order i believe). i leave the store pissed off and call customer service and tell them the whole story, they in turn apologize and tell me that they will call the store and basically make them refund me for the item. after they call the store the lady on the phone tells me that next time if i need to return something i just have to print out the electronic receipt that they sent me. FINALLY someone tells me what i need to bring in rather then just saying «i need a receipt… i need a receipt» and to top it all off i was offering to show her the electronic receipt on my phone the whole time and she kept telling me that isn’t what she needed. instead all she had to tell me to do was print it out and i would have done it… even the manager didn’t tell me anything! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I don’t know when Payless made this change… but they have a lot of cute stuff now. And it doesn’t kill my feet like other cheap shoes. And who knew that you can order them online?! No more finding a cute pair and them being out of your size. I ordered mine online and picked up in store! Saves you the cost of shipping.
In store– Really amazing customer service! Ordered online while the BOGO sale was on. I only bought three pairs so I got one for free. I went in to exchange them because I saw that the shoes I got online were now on sale in the store for cheaper. The girl that helped me was super friendly and didn’t make me feel like she was doing me a favor by exchanging my shoes. Really hard to come by sometimes!
