I’ve had Paul working on my family and company vehicles for the last 15 years because he has always been honest and straight forward when diagnosing and recommending whether a repair is needed or not and yes, he has told me on a couple occasions when something I thought needed to be done didn’t. He’s also very competitive in pricing so if you are looking for a good person to entrust your vehicle (or boat) to, he’s an honest guy to speak with.

Scam artists. Went there because my car failed smog. They told me I needed $ 1700 dollars of repairs for my car to pass smog. Cost me $ 90 to find that out. Went and got a second opinion, and was told all I needed was a new friggin gas cap. Found out that info for free.

I saw they were having a great deal on an oil change, and since my automotive shop closed, I was looking for a new trustworthy shop. They were so friendly and professional. Took great care of my car and seeing as how my car just hit over 100,000 miles they recommend new spark plugs and a transmission flush. My old shop never recommended other service maintenance. Paul and his team took GREAT care of me. I highly recommend the R&R team. Thank you Paul!

Beware! These guys took total adavantage of my son. He bought a car and it didn’t pass smog, the smog guy tells him to take it to the guy next door. The R&R guys says Oh no worries we will run diagnostic and let you know whats wrong. Well they keep car all day… and then proceed to tell us that it would cost $ 2800 to fix whats wrong! Says it needs complete exhaust system! We say no thanks took it down the street and the car is running great for one fourth of their quote. Not to mention they charged us $ 159 to tell us that big lie! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! This is the kind of place you see on those undercover shows where they tell you need a bunch of crap that you don’t really need!

I’ve only been to R&R one time because I went next door to get my car smogged and it failed because the check-​engine light was on. I didn’t know that this would cause me to automatically fail my smog test. I was told to take my car next door to R & R for a big discount on smog repair issue. R & R called me within an hour of it being dropped off and told me about a broken hose and the price as the first step to diagnosis. Next call in a couple hours was it was fixed, they finished the smog test, cost didn’t go up from original estimate, problem fixed in one day.

As a mature, single woman, I have had my fair share of headaches looking for a reputable, reliable, automotive repair shop. A few years back, I stumbled upon R & R Automotive, a family owned business, which is now run by the son, Paul and his manager Jeff. From the onset, Paul has never overpriced me on repairs and has always been very timely on his work. His integrity is above reproach. They always go out of their way to accommodate whenever they can. Let’s face it, this is automotive repair not a fast-​food place. They need time for diagnosing the problem before they can repair. (Yes, I’ve just read an unkind review, that I take exception to!) And I think most people would agree that when they think of auto repair garages, they are not associating them with the cleanliness of a 4-​star hotel! The bottom line is what matters here… R&R does Excellent work that you can Trust.

Brought in my daughters car to be repaired. Making funny noises and losing power. Was expecting the worst. Dropped it off and crossed my fingers. A few hours later got the call and they explained that it needed this and that and it was going to be a big bill. Yikes but then they told me that they called the Chevy dealership and most of the work would be covered by the warranty and as much as they would like to do the work I would save a few hundred dollars if I took it to the dealer and had the work done under the warranty. Who does that ! A lesson in integrity from a auto repair shop. Since that experience I have taken our other cars for repairs, mostly brakes and while not the cleanest shop in the world, they do great work for a fair price. And they get it done when they say they will…

My car was neglected for quite some time. When it came time to start fixing it the right way, I went to Paul. He always does an amazing job, gets my car in and out (usually within a day), and tells me exactly what he did, why he did it, and why the car broke in the first place. I definitely recommend having your cars serviced there.

MAKING AN APPOINTMENT WON’T HELP!!!
At first phone call, they were pretty friendly. I’ve called in advance to let them know I’m going to bring my car in for a brake change. The person I spoke to says bring it in 2 days later. I’m sure it was the owner because the 2^nd time I call, that person could give me an estimate for something else. I planned my scheduled to drop my car off. When I arrived, Paul tells me «Sorry, I’m too backed up». FREAKIN A! It took 2 days to tell me your freaking backed up! I told him we scheduled and he gave me that «who cares» look. I usually hate to Unilocal business if I have not tried their services, but their first impression shows what kind of business it is. This is a business that gives a *RAP if they get your business or not. I would have love to use them because they are down the street from my work. BUT, they won’t get a DIME from me!
P. S. commenting the 5 Star Unilocaler. Clean and organized? I think not. The place was sharing buildings with a RENTAL U-​Haul company. I would be scared to leave my car there with people renting U-​Hauls. Your car would be so PRONE to having an 1^st time U-​haul driver bumping into your car. All in all, the place looks like a junk yard. No offense, but I bet you probably know the owner and that’s why there’s a 5 STAR Unilocal. only UnilocalER here. man… I should have taken pictures of the place. LOL…

My family and friends have been going to Paul’s shop for many years now. We live 30 minutes away but it is worth the drive to have good old fashion, honest service. The shop is nothing fancy but it is kept clean and organized.
They service most cars and boats.
