Taco Dudes

Very tasty tacos and burritos, but it comes with a price. They are very greasy. Would be awesome if they could cut down the grease so its not dripping down your hands. But overall, good price for the quality and taste.

The tacos were not over the top, but I am giving this place 4 stars due to the ambiance (skateboard atmosphere), the kind service, and reasonable price. They had a radio with Social Distortion playing, and I went in with a client of mine who is in a wheelchair, and they were super awesome to him. Definitely recommend this place if you’re around.

Tacos are good. But I honestly did not like asada fries. Was not that great, but burrito was bomb too.

As soon as you are in the parking lot you get a wift of deliciousness. We ordered 1carnitas, 2 chicken tacos, 3 asada tacos, 2 sides of rice and 2 Ceviche tostadas and everything was great! Tacos are tiny but filling only complaint would be with the carnitas taco being too greasey but that could be plus for some people. Our food came out really quickly and was fresh. We will definitely be coming back.

Love taco dudes! I have yet to try out their competitors along riverside dr because I’m pretty satisfied with my orders here. I love love love their carne asada tacos and their al pastor is pretty tasty as well. Ceviche wasn’t amazing, the tacos were definitely better. For some reason their quesadilla is TO DIE FOR. I don’t know how they get me to pay almost $ 4 for one quesadilla but it’s DELISH. The guac and sour cream they serve it with is also incredible. And when I’m feeling super American and fatty, I order the nachos. Mmmmmm nacho cheese!!! So good.

Great taco spot. Probably best on this street. Meat is a bit leaner so not as greasy as El Rey down the street but still good flavor.
Ceviche was a bit dry but still good. The hard shell tostada was fresh.

Of flavor and I was so surprised that Guac was included without an extra fee! I’m so use to going places and Guac been extra! Everything was very flavorful — I also had a side of sautéed onions and jalapeño so delicious!

Parking? Plenty of parking behind and on the side of the restaurant — the restaurant is located on in a residential area but using your map you will be able to find this hidden gem w/​o any issues!
Seating — they have covered outdoor seating and also they have indoor seating !
Once again well season and bursting of flavor ! It’s really hard to find a great Mexican spot for got tacos but I’m really happy I came across this small gem!!! Yay for excellent food! Great atmosphere and exceptional service!!!

This place has pretty good carne asada tacos and this is coming from a Mexican. The meat is tender with none of that gutty, tendon stuff in it and the salsa is pretty decent but it’s not spicy. Of course, I have to compare it to my other favorite place for tacos which I will not mention, but that place is usually super packed so if your craving carne asada tacos and that place (hint:it’s by a $.99 store) is too packed, I recommend this place.

I found Taco Dudes on Unilocal and they proved to be fantastic! Carne Asada street tacos are my favorite and they did an amazing job making it! Their Horchata also tasted amazing and not watery at all.
Most importantly, the owner noticed it was my birthday because I had brought along 10 friends with me and he was very nice and wished me a happy birthday and thanked us for coming. He was very welcoming and I would definitely recommend this place for people who love tacos [Tacos are my favorite food]!! They have seating both outside and inside for whatever weather may come.
Parking is also convenient as they have their own lot. :O)

I really wanted to love this place. Tried it first time when it first opened. It was okay, said we didn’t hate it but wouldn’t go back.
Tried it again recently on a rainy, giving it a second chance. Was even more disappointed this time. Tortillas were cold, al pastor tasted like chorizo/​ground pork. Cheese was not melted in the quesadilla. Horchata was too watery.
Cashier (female) was kinda rude. Didn’t smile, say hi, took my order and didn’t say a peep.

Definitely one of my favorite taco spots in all of the land. I come here at least once or twice a week and pick up food for the entire office (I work nearby) the meat is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Rice and beans are excellent and the quality is always top notch. If you’re a taco/​burrito enthusiast then I highly recommend this place. They also have cool merch available as well!

Great taco stand with very good salsa, rice and beans. I would recommend the carnitas tacos with guacamole and the hot red salsa. They’re is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating seems to make it more authentic like a street taco stand.

This place is delicious! I’m from Torrance and had found this place on Unilocal and wanted to try it next time I came to visit my brother in chino. He took me tonight. I got the al pastor combo burrito with the sauce on the side and a carnitas taco. We got it to go cause seating is kinda limited. We got home and opened everything up and it was amazing. I will say the red sauce is really spicy, so I recommend going with the green one if your trying it for the first time. The carnitas taco was great they don’t skimp you on the meat and it had good flavor. The burrito was bomb as well I loved the al pastor!!! Overall it was well worth a 5 star review and I will defiantly be coming back whenever I am in the area!!!

Super clean, conveniently located and ample parking in private lot. $ 6.25 for All Ground Beef Burrito and $ 6.10 for 2 Taco (Asada) Combo with Rice & Beans. Ordered Chips & Salsa and side of Guacamole for $.75 cents. Staff was friendly and lively with the cook singing in the back.
The quality of the tacos were ordinary, rice and beans were so-​so, guacamole was bland, and prices are moderately higher than other taqueria’s (e.g. Tijuana’s Tacos, Taqueria Mora) that offer authentic flavors and taste. However, the green and red salsa were solid and bold. I hear the Pozole is their signature dish, so I may come back.

Iono why but I haven’t found my taco joint in the OC yet. Well actually I guess I could say the same in the IE, but I spend more time in the OC. The closest would be the fish taco place from Hole Mole but alas I got nothing for that minus the fish tacos. I do like El Fogon Potato tacos in Riverside though! :3 Sighhhh. Located in Chino, Taco Dudes is a couple blocks from housing. In fact, unless you know where to look for it or you see the sign that says Taco Dudes, you can easily miss this place. You can order tacos, sopas, or burritos.
I got ze burrito, a combo burrito to be exact. I got it with asada and included with it was onion, cilantro, rice, beans, and red/​green sauce. The meats you can choose? Chicken, asada, al pastor, or carnitas. $ 5.50. It is a decent size. The meat there had great flavor (asada) but with something in there, something definitely was oversalted. Either something overcompensated with something else, but it was a little salty for my taste. The rice and beans are a great combo. Looking and eating it, it’s half rice and the other half is everything else. The green sauce fortunately does not make it spicy but gives it well needed liquid so that not everything in there is dry. Of course, you do need water afterwards (or at least Raymond did).
Tacos are $ 1.75 for the same meats.

Keep hearing about this place. Ok so here is the 3 taco plate Chicken. Pastor, Asada and one extra Chicken. First the beans are blah no flavor rice ok.
Tacos are pretty good so is the green salsa. At $ 1.75 a little more than all others. Service is good and fast going to have to try the Burritos next skip the beans a little lard goes along way.

Made my first visit here but it will definitely not be my last.
Even though a friend suggested to try this place out, I really don’t know why it took me so long to try it! Taco Dudes makes an incredibly tasty carnitas taco.
I stopped by their walk up order window and ordered a bean and cheese burrito and a carnitas taco with red sauce «to go». When the lady standing in line behind me heard it was my first time here, she recommended and actually gushed about how great the chicken tacos with green salsa and the sopes are, which is good to know for future visits.
I was really surprised at the burst of flavors from the carnitas taco, never had one quite like it. The carnitas were not all charred and crispy like they were deep fried, rather the pork almost tasted like it was braised, and the flavors were melt in your mouth fantastic. The bean and cheese burrito was very substantial and also tasty. Their red salsa is hot, and its borders being more like a liquid hot sauce than a salsa. They also have a green salsa which I did not try.
The atmosphere is super casual and when peering into the take out/​order window all you see when you look into the window is an enclosed kitchen. I didn’t realize there is indoor seating, but the door leading to the indoor eating space is apparently on the right hand side of the take out window when you are facing it. There is outdoor seating as well which is clearly visible when you walk up.

I was impressed. I drive by this place almost every day since I work close by and my little ones go to school down the street. I decided to Unilocal them and found that most of my Unilocal friends gave this place a good review. It was about 10:30am when I showed up looking for a post workout snack (tacos aren’t necessarily the best thing but I earned them today). I ordered 4 tacos but the carnitas were not finished cooking yet; this is understandable bc it takes time to do the carnitas right and I’m glad they didn’t give me yesterday’s leftovers. I went with 3 tacos, al pastor, chicken, and asada with a large drink for $ 8.05. They have a 3 tacos combo special that comes with beans, rice and drink for $ 7.50+tax. I didn’t want rice or beans so ordered a la carte. It’s hard to find a great taco place with so many out there. I feel like the south land is saturated with them and some have lost their appeal. I can’t wait to go back.

I love the 2 taco combo which includes rice, beans, and a small drink of your choice.
The carne asada is well cooked and there’s never any fatty pieces. The red salsa is definitely spicy but has a good flavor, just make sure you have a tissue for your runny nose! :P
The everything nachos are huge and fully loaded, definitely enough for 2 people to share.
I peeked into the kitchen and saw that they use tortillas from Nancy’s Tortilleria in Pomona which I thought was cool, local shops supporting others.
Only thing that’s kind of a bummer is that the grilled onions aren’t well grilled. I’ve ordered them twice and both times they were pretty hard. They have the grilled look but aren’t soft. They’re still tasty but I saved the 50¢ and skipped ordering them after the second time.

I had high hopes for this place based off the reviews. I used to come to this location years ago, way before it was Taco Dudes.
Taco — Al Pastor: Good quantity of meat, but severely lacked flavor.
Carne Asada Torta: The bread is WAY too thick and dense for the small quantity of meat inside. This was a huge disappointment. Fix the ratio of bread to contents, and it might be a little better.
Horchata: Though a bit sweet, it was okay.
Service: Pretty quick, friendly staff.
Unfortunately, the food did not impress. Perhaps the only good point is that the taco seemed less greasy than other places in the area.
