A home inspection is a visual process where all of the items typically used within a home are tested and/​or operated to verify proper operation or installation. Doors and windows are opened and closed, roofing materials inspected, air-​conditioning and heating systems operated. The Inspector will fill the sinks and tub (s), run the shower (s), and flush the toilets. All the while making notes on the condition and operation of the components tested. Upon completion a report will be distributed to you.

The company was formed in late 2014 and licensing and certification was secured in 2015 for home inspection and radon measuring.

Business Owner

Ross’s passion for homes, particularly old and historic ones, comes in part from helping his father perform major remodeling jobs on their residences. Having owned and renovated several himself, he’s gained extensive experience with plumbing, wiring, repairs and remodeling. Today, combining his interest in building, trouble shooting and home improvements, he’s gotten out from behind a desk to pursue his passions. Sweet Homes Chittenango, LLC will help potential home owners ensure that their new home is a «sweet» home.

Always striving to the best in his field, Ross has completed extensive training to ensure that his «top to bottom home inspections» are comprehensive and serve his customers’ needs. He completed his certification training for home inspection with the American Home Inspectors Training Institute (AHIT), including extensive classroom and «in the field» training on all aspects of home inspection.
