Southside Strawberry Farm

Perfect day for this strawberry-​obsessed California girl. Mom, a local, planned out a super fun day of strawberry picking here. Upon arrival, the signage was helpful. Parking was plentiful. Staff was friendly. Not regular-friendly…SOUTHERN friendly, meaning heartfelt and unhurried. We got our shallow strawberry boxes and our wire box holder frame, and strolled down to the ripe rows to pick. The strawberries were so perfect and so incredibly abundant, it was heaven. We picked over 200 strawberries and more than half are already gone. They are delicious!
They also have a picnic area, and very successful tomato and bell pepper greenhouses. You can’t miss the cute little barn/​shop with it’s sampling of perfect and produce and a few bottled items.
Basically, a great day and a fantastic way to spend a morning.
