After Dollar General, I walked into the Dollar Tree knowing the selection they had. Walked in and it still had the scent of a newly opened store. Everything was nicely organized, was greeted by the employee and checkout was done in seconds. The shelves are all neatly organized and stocked and presentable.

Prices are very cheap, but most of the employees are plain rude. There are only a handful that care about their job. I once went in to get dog food and the guy at register asked me if I was having a big feast for dinner. Of course I flipped out, this is no way to treat a customer, let alone a human. I might have understood if we were friends, but we’re not and I was heated.

I have to say this store kinda hits the spot here in Chowchilla. A good store has good employees. This store has 3 in my book. Deborah, who always greets you with a smile, makes you feel welcomed and takes your shopping needs as if they’re her own. Respectful and bright. She makes me want to go back and shop just so I can go through her line. Never is a customer a bother. She is patient and so courteous. Next is Donelle. Quick on the floor. Happy, even if rudeness from customers is present. She is quick to help and never makes a customer feel unappreciated. She sticks well and while sticking, her cart and stocking items are always in a safe area away from customers. Sabrina, always in different parts of the store and ready to help with a smile. She too is courteous and always asks if there is anything the customer needs. It is examples like these that many people need to follow for a successful business and a successful shopping experience. Please stop by and if you get these lady’s at the checkout, trust me, you’ll leave happy and come back the next time happy knowing that your shopping needs are cared for by these persons!
