MTM Ranch North Specializes in Cool Mountain Horseback rides near Payson/​Christopher Creek in the Mogollon Rim Country. We offer 2.5, 3.5 and 5 hour tours for the discriminating rider. Our horses are fit, well trained athletes with exceptional training to take on the big boy trails of the Highline. These are destination trail riding segments of the same trail the Great U.S. Calvary General George Crook rode with his men back in the 1800’s. There are some Historical stops along the way. History

Established in 1989.

The MTM Ranch and MTM Ranch North have been providing Horseback Ride Adventures for over 26 years to guests from Around the World, Across the Country and Locally to Arizonans. We have provided safe and wonderful experiences to advanced riders as well as the most novice. Our summer location (To Beat the Heat) is Payson Christopher Creek.

Business Owner

Patricia or «Cow Patty» as we like to call her, has been a professional horse trainer and competitor for over 40 years. Her knowledge spans many fields of expertise from being an Equestrian Eventer/​Jumper, Combined Driver of a 4 in Hand, World Champion Cowboy Mounted Shooter (Yes Shoots a gun on a Horse), to barrel racing, Cutting, Reining and dabbles in Reined cowhorse. She is a lifelong breeder of fine performance horses and a savior to many whom would have ended up in your dogs bowl. Proud to take horses from the very worst of conditions and feed, train and love them into being sucessful, useful members of the Working Horse World where they are always Busy Happy and Well Loved. Three weeks during the month of July she spends doing early morning rides in Christopher Creek for the Southwest Cancer Kids Foundation. It is a passion for her. She very well may be your guide!
