American Tire Depot – Chula Vista

Came in for some KO’S 2 for my jeep grand cherokee 2011 and Gabriel the store manager gave me a good price way better than discount tire. Installation was quick and professional will definitely come back for some tires for my ram!!!

I had the best customer service experience buying quality tires at a fair price! I called to cancel an on line appt I had made the previous day. Gabe asked me why? I told him I had found a better deal elsewhere. I gave him the tire specs and price and he beat the competition’s with a better tire and price! Which I confirmed on line while speaking to Gabe. I even got an alignment, they are a full service car repair facility in addition to offering great deals on tires! I was reminded to stop in for complementary tire rotation every 5k-​6k miles to make sure everything is going well. Thanks again for the great deal!

Felt right at home with the customer service here. Gabriel was helpful, and honest. Something you don’t get from your everyday mechanics. This place saved me a ton of money and even took my car across the street for a free car wash. Definitely coming back here.

It’s my first time coming here but what got me here is the deal they had. Buy 3 get 1 free and I gave it a shot and went for it! As I walked in I was greeted by Gabe and this guy is awesome and professional in the same time. I ask for a brand of tires and size, he didn’t have it in stock but he said that he can order it and have in before lunch time the next day. I come in the next day with new set of tires in the car and fully aligned. People who work here is great! I will be back here when I need a new set of tires and will recommend this store to my friends!

I was looking for a place to get 4 new tires for my wifes car before leaving on a det in 2 days. Gabe was very nice and got me taken care of. Got me 4 new falcon tires ordered for the next day. Also i came back 3 weeks later after my det and i brought my own oil and filter, and they took care of me with the oil change no charge. Great customer service. Will come back in the future.

This place is good to rip you off. I took in to get 4 brand new tires. So far I haven’t had any problems with the tires. (Only reason 2 stars vice 1). Also I was told that he would check my alignment for free. They checked it and fixed it without my approval. When I came back to the shop he said he didn’t have time to call and ask. So I told him I don’t have tone to pay for that. He said he will give me half off off the alignment (he wanted me to pay $ 50). To back track I was told at the beginning if it had to be fixed it would cost $ 70. I told him this and he said that’s wrong I told you $ 100. I told him earl I’m not paying because you never asked me in the first place. So I started to leave after only paying for the tires and he called the police. I waited for them to show up and told then my side of the story and he said his. The police told him that by law he must call me before doing any extra work on my car and the police let me go on my way without paying for the alignment.

Been coming here since i bought my RX-​8. Gabe the new store manager is really down to earth, I have never been pressured to get a service I didnt need. And he told me how to better maintain my RX-​8 to avoid issues down the line. If you dont know what an RX-​8 is, it has a rotary engine that has specific needs compared to a regular engine.
I will continue coming here for my oil and tire needs.

This place sucks they have no customer service very rude manager his name is Gabriel trying to make my dad look stupid when my dad when he was younger used to work at a tire shop there quick to take your money but the service is no good they wont even rotate tires as they say and or give the rebate like they said. I’d advise you not to go here. I gave them onestar just because

What a horrible place. I stop in today to get my tires rotated under their warranty, 3^rd time here and was told they are too busy.
I pull up and put my car in reverse to park, I ask the mechanic if they were busy, jokingly (only 1 vehicle in a bay), he said yes, go ask the manager.
I get my son out of the car and go in. I waited behind a gal at the counter. When she was finished I asked the guy at the counter, «Are you a manager», he said yes. I said I need my tires rotated as per the warranty. He said we are busy today and it isn’t likely. I said this was my third time being turned away for it being too busy. I said. Want a printout showing I was in again. He then said come in tomorrow to talk to a manager. I said you just said you were a manager. He said I can help you in 2 hours, maybe. I asked his name and he said Art. I asked for a business card and he pointed at an empty spot on the desk, then pointed at the other counter and said get it yourself and get out. He was getting very loud, I asked him to calm down. I said you guys sure have no problem taking my money but the customer service stops there. I will be back in when a real manager is in. Look for the pictures of the ‘busy’ shop.
Avoid this scam shop!!!

I’ve come twice now for an oil change. Daniel helped me both times, greeting me with a smile and welcoming me back during my return. Needless to say the service here is phenomenal! They didn’t try to talk me into things I didn’t need before my trip to WA and my price out the door was under $ 20. I will definitely return for all my tire and oil change needs:)

When I bought my Toyota Zion XB in 2006 I had large tires put in my car. These tires have cost me $ 100 and up whenever I need to replace them. I decided I wanted to change the wheels and tires so it would not cost as much. I researched tire places with the help of my son. We came up with American Tire Depot. I was able to get a good price with extras. The guys who worked there were so helpful and informative. My new wheels and tires are amazing. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Went in today at 9:15 in the morning the manager Daniel greeted me right away super friendly and nice. I told I’m here for and oil change because I was on Unilocal and saw a coupon for 16.95 plus tax came out to 18.31 great price I was in and out didn’t try to up sell me or anything which most mechanics like to do. Definitely will recommend this place and I’ll be returning next time for and oil change.

Customer service was awesome. Just had some springs installed on my Lexus and they did a great job.

Went in to get my mother-​in-​laws flat tire replaced. They assured me it could be patched as-​is (without needing a new tire) and when I went to go pay, they wouldn’t let me and wished me a happy Father’s Day.
Great customer service.

I brought my truck here to get my brakes fixed. Long story short– six days goes by, they don’t even call me to update me so I had to call them every day and they just made poor excuses like «we are still looking for parts» or «oh, our brake guy is off today» WTH!!!
Did they fix the brakes after all this? NOPE!
I don’t recommend this place to anyone– Stay far away!

I am in love with this place amazing customer service!!! I just took my car in this week for some tires. They not only gave me a great deal, but they definitely exceeded my customer service expectations, I was able to drop my car off before work and pick it up at my convenience. The team had a lot of patients in trying to explain a situation that was going on with my car. I have took my car in to other places and felt like I’ve had been taken advantage of (this was not the case here) !!! pleased with the fact that they were very upfront with any expenses I would acquire during my visit. This is going to be my one stop shop from now on, highly recommended

Last Friday morning I called and asked the store manager, «Lorenzo» if they had specific tires I needed. He said he needed to call his warehouse to check and that he would call me back.
More than an hour went by so, I called him again.
He stated he still hasn’t heard from the warehouse.
My thought was ok… Why don’t you call thr warehouse again and follow up?
Lorenzo assured me that he would be in touch as soon as the warehouse called him.
Lorezo never called me back.
In fact I ended calling the store roughly before closing time.
Their employee stated he hadn’t heard anything from Lorenzo concerning my tires and that Lorenzo was gone for the day.
The employee assured me that he would call me tomorrow 1^st thing.
I never received that call.
Today is Monday and I just called and spoke with Lorenzo, he states that he called the warehouse this past Saturday.
He said those tires are no longer available.
I told him I find it hard to believe you called on Saturday because you never called me back. So essentially he is not only lacking customer service skills he lies as well.
Very bad customer service.

Good customer service from Lorenzo. I needed a tire and I even got it way cheaper than I expected to pay.

These guys are great! YES, the location WAS a different company previously that sucked but these guys at American Tire Co know how to provide excellent customer service and prices you can’t beat. Thanks to Dominic and the mechanics I was able to get what my vehicle needed completed without spending a fortune.
I will definitely continue to bring my vehicle here and refer my family and friends.
