Management here is first class, and the quality of work is trust worthy. I’ve been coming here for 5+ years and I’m extremely satisfied!

General service is fine, however, I could have gotten a better deal at costco. Did not see the discount part at all. Estimated wait time given for car to be ready with two new tires was 45 mins. Total time it really took was 1 hour 30 mins.

Bought my tires here a few years ago. I’m due for some tires but I’m still recovering from the holidays. My thought was to have my tires rotated so that I can buy myself a month or two. The gentleman was very courteous, however after he realized I was not there to buy tires he quickly said that he cannot rotate the tires because they needed to be replaced. My understanding was that if you buy tires you can have them rotated at any time. That is part of the package when you buy tires. Very disappointing, I will be buying my tires elsewhere.

The BEST customer service. Hugo’s expertise has kept me safe on the road with quality cost efficient tires. I refer all friends… We feel like family, never any complaints or concerns. We trust we are getting the best deal, quality service and tires available. Never any doubt, we have compared our experience at other shops and ALWAYS have to come back to discount.
If possible, make an appointment, but when ever I have to wait… I get the VIP treatment. Clean waiting room, water bottle service and open area to see my baby (car… AKA ShielaDee) while she gets worked on. Good music too! :-)

This place is far from professional. I’ve come here to get 2 tires on 2 separate occasions because I can’t afford to buy a full set at once. The first time I came I got my tires put on and once I got home and checked my tires i realized they put a cheaper model tire on. So I went back and they just offered to change it. So I figured it was a one time screw up. I go back to get my other tires and realized they had snapped a lug nut off my car which they offered to fix. So after I bought my last two tires I returned home to see they put the wrong tires on again! After the fact I reminded them not to put the wrong tires on and the assistant manger even assured me before I left that they were the right tires. They offered me no solution to my wasted time and gas coming back and forth twice to get the right tires for my car. I will not be buying tires here again and I suggest u don’t waste your time and money and this joke of a tire shop.

I had come to this location to get my tires checked out. I was having some problems with one of my tires and thought it was time for a new one. I parked in the parking space and was immediately greeted by Arnold.
He was very friendly and pleasant and asked what I needed help with. I told him I wasn’t sure if I needed new tires or not and needed them checked out. He immediately checked all my tires. He told me they were all in great condition except for one.
We went inside and discussed prices and he was very thorough and informative over what the price covers. I asked a lot of questions and he was patient and helpful. The tires come with a lifetime warranty when purchased for a small fee. I ended up deciding to buy the new tire and he told me it would be a 30 – 45 minute wait. To my surprise it only took about 15– 20 minutes.
I just want to really thank this place and Arnold for being so nice and friendly to me. I wasnt dressed up like I usually am and was wearing sweats and a sweater and boots and wasn’t sure what to expect but I was not treated any different from anybody else. I truly was satisfied with how professional and courteous he was. Thanks Arnold! I will be back!

I went in because my dealership said I had a nail in my back passenger tire. They recommended Discount Tire, since they didn’t repair tires any longer. I went in and they checked all my tires for NO CHARGE! What’s more is that vehicle I didn’t buy my tires there. Only my other Jeep years ago. I was in and out less than — 10 mins! I couldn’t wait to write this review. One of the best customer service I have ever had in in my entire life! Thanks you guys made my day!

I needed a repair on a tire and went to Discount Tires in Chula Vista. Went during my lunch break last Monday in the mid-​day rain to drop the tire off and there were numerous people waiting and I totally understand why… because their customer service is ABOVE & BEYOND.
Carlos is the gentleman that took care of me and I truly cannot find the words to define his outstanding service. Because I had to get back to work he told me to leave the tire and come back after work, in spite of all the people, he had me in and out of there in no time and if that wasn’t enough he even let me borrow an umbrella, yes totally above and beyond…
I picked up my tire after work and this outstanding experience at Discount Tires CV has definitely made me their customer for life, it is a rarity to see such magnificent service, without hesitation-​my highest recommendations!

Great place to go to get tires! Staff is excellent! The service is above and beyond!
Would highly recommend this place for your tire needs. The only issue I have with this place is the parking is horrible. Very tight and very hard to get in.

The staff here is really friendly never had any issues, I like that they offer free rotations and in some instances puncture repairs for customers.

Simply the best tire store in the South Bay, if they don’t have the tires they always get them within a day or two. I called to inquire about getting tires for my sons car that lives in Los Angeles (I called 2 other tire stores and they said they didn’t have them and hung up) these guys ordered them and had them sent to their store in Los Angeles for free. Thank you Hiram! And thank you Discount tire!

SCAM ARTISTS ALERT!!! Do not go to this place they will rip you off by selling you a bogus certification on tires for lifetime warranty and come to find out you don’t actually have it when you need to get your tires fixed. Shady ppl!

Great Service. Always pretty busy, but they seem to have a solid system that works.
Good Selection (price & product). From low end, to high end. They usually have what you need in stock. Every one loves Options!
Buy the warranty! They provide free tire rotations & repair service. I’ve used it, multiple times… and found very convenient.

Have been coming here for shoes for my Ram. Always have had excellent service and a quick turn on my truck. Usually, 45 mins or so. Thanx of Chuck, Jose and the staff for taking care of me and my rig.

I’m going to assume that everything will work out just fine. I avoided one of those streetside flower beds that abuses parking, and hit the curb instead. Grrr, I’m an idiot. I put a gash in a 2 – 3 week old tire.
I came here from the Palm Avenue store because they didn’t have the certain tire I needed and this store’s inventory showed 4 of them.
Unfortunately, they were on layaway, I was told, and they couldn’t get one from the warehouse on Saturday, naturally.
Since I was headed to LA/​OC tomorrow, he worked out something. I’m guessing that he requested the tire from the warehouse for Monday morning. I hope that the tire I’m getting will match. I am trying to believe in great things happening to me, no matter what.
They were supposedly not that busy – they had a couple of open stalls when I got there, but they had a little crowd also. I can hope.
I think he said 90 minutes to get it into a stall, which is fine. At least, the mall is pretty much directly across the intersection, and it’s not raining. I have hope. I also hope that the Volkswagen dealer will help reimburse part of the expenses since the tire was so new.

Unfortunately I come here more than I want to. Not because if any wrong doing from Discount Tire, but from bad luck I guess. They do good work for the most part. Usually not a very long wait. Usually 40 mins or so. They always seem to have the tires I need. I’ve been here about 8 times in the last 4 years. 2 times was immediately after I got a tire replacement because I ran over a nail 1 day later. Luckily I got the insurance on the tire and they changed it for zero charge. I suggest getting here early in the morning for faster service. It is located across the street from the mall and several eating establishments so it makes the wait bearable. To me they are the least expensive tire place in town. I’m sure I’ll be here again soon… sigh…

First time here since I always have visited other locations but I was not impressed with the haggling performed by the Discount Tire rep.
I knew more about cars and tires than the sales rep helping me but he just had to keep pushing my buttons. Was also not satisfied with the customer service by the mechanic who drove my car as well.
I had given him special request on how to start my car but he totally disregarded my requests and just drove it like he stole. Doubt I will be returning to this location unless I was in urgent need of tire services but I won’t put up with their sleazy tactics next time.
My sister and mom had some issues here couple of years ago too but for some reason I wanted to give them a chance and this particular Discount Tire BLEW IT BIG TIME!!! First impressions are long-​lasting.
