Goody Goody Ice Cream & Candy

A friend of mine recommended me this shop. The staff is really friendly. They have 24 flavors of Ice cream. Black cherry with chocolate covered cone is among the best. It tastes so good. can’t wait to go back!

Went to the movies had some time to spare so me and my friends headed to the ice cream shop. I saw boba drinks and got all excited. Nope got my hopes up. I ordered a honey dew one. I thought boba drinks were that drinks, I got this green slush thing. I gave it a try I swear it tasted like honey dew ice cream watered down and blended so it was gross. I think I took 2 sips and threw it away, 4 dollars down the trash…

Came here cause it is inside the second level of the Chula Vista mall. I was craving some ice cream to cool off.
I walk in and was greeted by an older gentleman who works at the counter. They had so many flavors of ice cream. I go with one scoop of blueberry cheesecake and one scoop of strawberry cheesecake. For two scoops in a cup, it costs me around $ 3.75. Not bad.
Once I get my ice cream, I take a taste of the blueberry cheesecake. Yum! It definitely tastes like it’s flavor. As I finish that flavor, I taste the strawberry cheesecake. So good. Also tastes like strawberry cheesecake. It’s texture was sweet and delicious! I did taste a few ice pieces but that is okay. Ice cream cooled me off on a hot day! It’s rare that I get ice cream but I decided to treat myself to something delicious and sweet.
I would return only for the ice cream. They also sell drinks and candy inside. Cool place if you want something sweet. I only come here for the ice cream. Yum!

i had the thai tea boba slush and it was absolutely terrible, did not taste at all like thai tea. had to throw it away, was not worth $ 3.75

Unilocal did LOUSY JOB… Could not find the place. After we got there the guy gave us a very poor quality ice cream and overcharged us because we use credit card and because I ordered sugar-​free. I will not go back. Poor selection no frozen yogurt as advertised…

I love it here but if green tea ice cream is what your looking for this is not the place for you it taste like pepto bismol xp

Good sized scoop of ice cream for the price! Good flavor and a little candy shop too. Plus the owner was sweet :)

I’ve been here many times throughout the years while visiting the Chula Vista Center, and I didn’t realize until yesterday that they offered boba shakes/​smoothies? I had some time before my film started so I decided to check it out and perhaps get a scoop of ice cream on a hot summer day. Aside from the usual candy assortment (including the option to pay per pound), they also have an assortment of flavored soda pop (Cheerwine, Swamp Juice, Dog Spit are among the flavors). Their main thing is the 20+ different flavors of ice cream, ranging from the classics (Cookies & Cream, Rocky Road) to some specialty ones (Green Tea, Lemon). I believe I’ve tried some in the past, but I don’t remember them now.
However, back to the item I ordered/​tried this time. I noticed a poster on the door mentioning that they have boba/​bubble tea, and I got a bit excited because I didn’t realize there was a place in this particular mall that offered it. So, although there were only about 5 – 7 flavors to choose from, I ended up getting a Thai Tea boba shake. The employee who was there was very helpful and friendly, and he promptly went to making my order. It took about 2 – 3 minutes, and it ended up being very good and at a very cheap price ($ 3.50 I believe). The boba was chewy and the Thai Tea blended nicely with ice, which in turn made for the perfect drink to cool down with on a hot day. Overall, I’m very happy to have finally discovered that this place offers boba, so that in the event I have a craving while I’m shopping at this mall, I can go here.
