IZ Eyebrow Threading

I absolutely love this place! It’s clean & the employees are very talented. They did a perfect job on my eyebrows. I am now a happy loyal customer.

I’m a little disheartened writing this review. But I’ll start. I had been growing my eyebrows for about 7 months with only plucking the occasional supper annoying little hairs. I had the most hair I’ve had since my teen years. Yesterday I woke up and told my self, «today is the day I’m gonna either wax or try threading for the first time». I saw this spot on Unilocal and all the amazing reviews so I decided to try it. Location is pretty easy to spot. It’s by the smart and final on Palomar. I walked in and was not greeted. Some places greet you either with a hello or a warm smile– here, nothing. I did get a «sign in» so I signed in. The lady that helped me, whose name I did not get, seemed nice but serious– she had blonde hair. I immediately expressed that I had been growing out my brows and I had little hairs still growing on the inside corners of my brows that I DID NOT want to remove. I also expressed I was going for a THICK look. This was my first time threading and I was immediately concerned by how quickly she was getting rid of the hair without much examination or even stopping to look at both brows at the same time. Anyway, so she finished. I looked at my brows and immediately noticed they were too thin, particularly the arch of my left one. She had removed the little hairs I had on my left brow, cutting the length significantly (to my eye, at least). I expressed my concern and she said something along be lines of «no, the other one is actually thinner». She went ahead and filled them in right away, which I thought was a nice gesture but did in fact made me realize the horrible mistake I had made my threading my brows that day. I know I have difficult eyebrows, but still feel a better outcome could have been attained. Perhaps threading or this location is best for people that have thick and full eyebrows and not so much for people like me. It has nice décor and amazing prices, but I don’t think I would go back. She did sell me an oil that’s supposed to help my brows and eyelashes grow. I hope it works and I don’t have no wait another 7 months for my brows to grow thick again.

I went in for the first time yesterday. I think I have found the perfect place! Everyone is super nice & attentive. They make sure you leave there happy & they accomplished that. Thank you for shaping my messed up eyebrows. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Eyebrows back on point! This was my very first time trying this place out and the lady that threaded my eyebrows (I forgot her name but she had blonde hair) was phenomenal! Def will be coming back, happy customer

I came in randomly on a whim to give it a shot and it was definitely worth it! I forgot her name but she took her time to ensure the shape of my eyebrows were exactly the same and perfect! I was in and out in the matter of 15 mins. Definitely happy with the outcome of them and I will be back in 2 – 3 weeks! (:

Good-​bye waxing, Hello threading! This place is amazing! It was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded, and I couldn’t have chosen a better spot. Really fast, smooth process; while doing my eyebrows IZ explained everything as he went. He made me feel comfortable. And in all honesty I’m recommending IZ threading to everyone I know. I came to check out the place for the first time and they did a great job. They are also very knowledgeable about the art of threading eyebrows. They educated us on natural eyebrow shape and recommended a serum that would help eyebrows and eyelashes grow. Definitely coming back!

I’ve been to a couple threading places, so far this is the best. My brows are not perfect, but this place is great. All the workers are so nice & do what you ask with your brow shaping.

New eyebrow threading salon, heard really good comments about this place so I brought my sister to get her eyebrows done for the first time. IZ did a great job, he left eye brows full and even. He explained to us what he thought looked good for her since she’s only 15 and this was her first time getting them done, I thought that was very kind of him. Definitely recommend you give him a try!

I checked out this place only because I read the reviews. IZ is wonderful! Very great customer service. He takes his time with you and gives you exactly what you request. He’s gentle with his threading. I don’t know if it’s the type of thread he uses, but this place is the only place that doesn’t leave my eyebrows so red.
I’d recommend him to anyone!

Let me just say, I am the most specific and annoying person in the world when it comes to my eyebrows. I have had them absolutely ruined in the past, to the point that it took me roughly 6 months to regrow them properly. Can you imagine the horror? Anyway, I digress. But suffice to say I am very particular. I recently moved to California, which meant I left my trusted eyebrow connoisseur behind in my old state. After setting out on what seemed like an endless search for the right match for threading, I can safely say I have found him.
To begin with, the establishment is beautiful. You walk into the doors and it’s an immediate relief. Such a quiet, serene environment to have your eyebrows done in. Very neat, very pristine and it smells ravishingly. I sat in the chair and the gentleman began doing my brows — generally I am accustomed to feeling the pull and tug as the hair is threaded off. Not this time! He is so light handed and it makes a world of difference. My shape and arch are so perfect I could not have imagined a better job if I tried. He is truly an eyebrow genie. And for $ 10? I was prepared to pay $ 20 for how wonderful a job he did. I will forever be a return customer. The most pleasant experience yet!

IZ is seriously the best! I first started going to him when he worked in Eastlake and I trust only him to do my eyebrows. So I obviously had to come to his new shop! The place is nice and there’s a comfortable atmosphere. IZ is so nice and welcoming and he’s SO good at shaping eyebrows. When I talk to him about my shape and when I tell him how I want my eyebrows to look he literally does exactly what I want. I always get so many compliments on my eyebrows when I get them done by IZ. Eyebrows are SO important!!! And if you want perfect eyebrows I suggest you go to IZ! My eyebrows always end up super cleaned up. The price is cheap so you don’t have to spend lots of money.

I went to treading because I was over waxed and had very thin eyebrow .I. Started going here and explained my problem and he’s helping me make them thicker. This is my 3^rd time going and I’m loving the results !!!

Can I start by saying the last Unilocal review I wrote was 5 YEARS AGO! I’m getting on here for a very good reason haha.
Back Story: My coworker recommended IZ to me. I started seeing IZ at Beauty by Dolly and always made the trip out to Hillcrest because it was worth it (I live in Chula Vista). I was extremely sad when I found out he was no longer there. Like I mean… EXTREMELY sad. Every time I find a favorite brow artist they disappear! I would keep going back hoping to find a new favorite brow artist, but I was never as satisfied as I was with IZ. The girls at Beauty by Dolly didn’t disclose where he went so I just accepted that he was gone… until two nights ago I decided to research «IZ Eyebrow Threading» one more time after talking to my coworker about needing to get our brows done. LOW AND BEHOLD. «IZ Eyebrow Threading» is a thingggg! My heart was way too excited and my fingers were crossed that this was the IZ I knew. The very next day I decided to drop in.
IZ Eyebrow Threading is located in the same plaza as Food 4 Less and Ross (next door to M’s Clothing) in old Chula Vista across from the Michaels/​Target. Plenty of parking and you don’t have to worry about street parking (huge plus). This location is SO MUCH closer to me which is really convenient, but honestly if he moved somewhere further than Hillcrest I would totally make that drive. As I drove by, I looked through the glass window and saw him at the desk. and of course got more excited.
IZ definitely takes his time when he’s doing your brows. It also never hurts as much when I get them done with him (note: if it’s your first time it may or may not hurt. I’m used to it by now, but I’ve still had painful clean ups from other people to the point where my foot will twitch or I’m clenching every muscle in my body while holding my breathe lol). He cleans them up and shapes them perfectly! He also allows you to hold a mirror up and watch him fill your brows in. I’m also going to try using dark blonde on my brows during my makeup routine, it looks so natural! To see his work on me I made a photo collage of a before/​after/​after fill. Really, the picture can do all the talking. Side note: IZ is a sweetheart!
Original pricing for eyebrows is only $ 12! Seriously more than worth it. And there is a coupon circulating to get $ 3 off that doesn’t expire until December. I believe there’s a promo right now as well for drop ins where its $ 8 or $ 10. Either way, it’s inexpensive and you will receive quality services!
I’m excited that he’s opened up his own place. I fully support IZ Eyebrow Threading and will continue to recommend him to all my friends and family :)

Very friendly great price and did a awesome job with these broad of mine x) would deff recommend to my friends esp with the promo for the grand opening he has currently, the cut was very clean and that’s the way I like it!
