Cold fries, cold burgers. Terrible customer service and they take too long. Oh and if you want eggshell on your croissant come to this place!

Cold fries. Cold burger. Cold everything. It was honestly probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a jack in the box.

My pregnant girlfriend demanded that I get her 2 hash browns, pancakes and a mango smoothie, or I would have to suffer the consequences of her wrath and she would carve a large J and B in my back… so I went. What can I say about the customer service that is unlike any other jack in the box I’ve driven up to? The person taking my order said their name, therefore I am giving brownie points for common courtesy. Thanks Jack! If you’ve never been here, you’ve never witnessed the monstrosity that can only be characterized as a Frankensteinian version of pancakes. In other words you don’t know Jack unless you’ve been to jack. The 3 little circled objects called«pancakes» were very edible and I was able to wash it down with a tasty synthesized mango smoothie, that was developed with the soul purpose to make a mango flavor out of non-mango materials even though actual mangos were ubiquitous in the development and manufacturing of this product. In my opinion, this mango smothie was quite delicious. The shreded white things with a crunchy flavor called hashbrowns were okay. They are comparable to Mc Donalds hashbrowns only in size, flavor, color, and price. There might be a collaborative effort and other fast food restaurants to provide the lowest form of potatoes imaginable for breakfeast. I will investigate and inform you when I unearth this conspiracy. Overall, it made my partner very happy. And she promised I get to live another day.

My experience was very similar to Katherine F.‘s venture posted below. How difficult is it to be friendly – especially when your job depends on repeat customers? However, unlike Katherine’s experience, mine had additional issues… If there was a lower rating than 1 Star, I would hand it out to this JIB. I was on the way back home today(5÷4÷14) from my daughter’s house in IB and wanted to pick up some breakfast sandwiches for myself and my son. First of all let me say that the JIB at Terra Nova is my go to JIB, they are generally very good – friendly and get it right most of the time. However, I didn’t feel like driving over there this morning(bad idea) so I pulled into the drive-thru at the JIB on south 3rd Street near Orange and placed a order for a Number 23&25 combos(Breakfast sandwich and Croissant Supreme). The young lady who took my order on the intercom was nice and friendly. When I got to the pickup window, some guy just sticks his hand out – he never said a word! Strike 1! I knew how much it was from the screen at the drive-thru ordering station. It was $ 11.21. I gave this«overly friendly» guy $ 20,21. He took my money and then gave me my change(correct change), but again never said ONESINGLEWORD! Strike 2! About two minutes later he hands me two bags and again, never said a word. I drive home and getting out of the car I notice that the bottom of the bag is saturated with oil/grease on one corner. Oh well, I thought, they must have set it down somewhere back at the restaurant where cooking oil had spilled or something like that. When I got the stuff out of the bag and placed it on our kitchen table, I noticed that the potato cake bags where dark on the bottom. Both cakes must have had 3 tablespoons of oil in them!!! The sandwiches were also«old» and I could tell that they had been sitting under the«warming lights»(worst thing that fast food restaurants EVER implemented). Even the OJ wasn’t cold. Strike 3 and OUT!!! Good heavens, how difficult can it be to give good, friendly customer service, cooked food without being greasy and lukewarm, and cold OJ? I don’t get it. But what I DOGET very well is that I will never be back to that JIB! Just horrible customer service and«old food» and warm OJ. Just what one would expect from a CV fast food restaurant. I live here but almost always shop North, as well as eat North. Sad to say, most restaurants down here HASJUSTAWFULSERVICE! aND NOWBADFOOD! Do yourself a favor, IFYOUARELOOKINGFORJACKINTHEBOXFOOD, skip going to the 3rd St. location. It is the worst JIB I have ever been to!

Probably the worst Jack in the Box I’ve ever been to. First of all, the only reason this even gets a star at all is because of the convenience and speed.(Not anymore since this place isn’t in my to go place anymore) I ordered some breakfast at the drive thru before heading out to LA and the girl just kept giggling and asking for my order over and over again. Then she had the nerve to correct my coffee order which was right in the first place and she was just being dumb I figured«whatever, it’s morning time and I’ll leave it at that.» So I get to the window and this unhappy looking girl takes the payment and then handed me my stuff and just gave me a smirk and walks away. Not even a «Here’s your order, thank you have a nice day!» NOTHING. I figured at least the food will be alright NOPE, my hash browns were stale and way too hot(somehow overcooked.) Those girls need to stop fooling around in there. I’ve had to go back to this place because of a mistake on the order in the past but never had I dealt with people acting like idiots while taking orders.

I showed up at this location with seven different orders and two coupons, I didn’t get any sighs or witness any eye rolling, I only got smiles :). This facility has great staff! Keep up the good work.

pros… for a fast food place, this on is pretty ok with me. they are open till all hours of the night. so when i’m hungry and want some jack and the B-fish i go here.(ever notice that the old spelling was the letter b and then the o and the x were linked together to make a fish?). as far as drive thru’s this one is pretty fast. love the motley menu, with it’s hodge podge of stuff. you can get almost anything at a jib. food wise, it’s always hot, either freshly made or stuck under a heat lamp, but usually pretty tasty, as far a fast food goes. love the curly fries and the double western cheese burger too. also the wide assortment of drinks too. this one even has a drive thru, which is kinda tucked away in the back, and takes some time to find. cons… not much, guy on the other end of the microphone, was kinda speaking too quickly and the audio kept breaking up. so had a fun time trying to order. otherwise pretty good.

This is my favorite JIB. Service is pretty quick. No attitudes.
