Established in 1972.

Established in 1972, the training at Kwon’s Black Belt Academy is under the supervision of Grand Master Young H. Kwon. He holds an 8^th degree Black Belt and is the founder of the widely recognized and respected Pilsung Martial Arts Association.

Grand Master Young H. Kwon is the pioneer of traditional Korean Martial Arts in the Philadelphia and San Diego areas and has developed many national and international champions, masters, and instructors.

Grand Master Young H. Kwon is the pioneer of traditional Korean Martial Arts in the Philadelphia and San Diego areas and has developed many national and international champions, masters, and instructors.

His long and distinguished career includes numerous awards recognizing a tireless dedication to the Martial Arts. He and his brother are the founders of the United Martial Arts Federation (Now changed to the Pilsung Martial Arts Association) which certifies and supervises Martial Arts centers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, California, and Mexico.
